   Food and ambience great. However only 2 people serving for quite a number of tables. The 2 staff were trying hard and did warn us about delays. Both male and female bathrooms were dirty/ lacked toilet rolls. It’s a real shame but mgmt need to ensure enough staff on duty for tables or refuse bookings

   I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice my lunch at Lussmanns was. When the restaurant opened I looked at the menu and was underwhelmed as there are already good restaurants in Highgate with what I thought were better choices, but I was persuaded by a friend to try their lunch menu. I had a chicory, poached pear and blue cheese salad to start, then fishcake in a creamy caper sauce. We had a side of beans to share. All delicious. The lunch deal is very reasonable. It was very quiet and I hope more customers come and try it.

   Much better experience than last time. New manager who was excellent and listened to our dietary requirements and the dinner was good but spinach not so fresh. Good fish not overcooked and delicious bitter chocolate mousse for dessert. We will come again …!

   The last time I went there was a long delay in getting our food. An issue in the kitchen I think. Two meals were good but one was very poor. Wait staff good. managers did not attend our table even though we complained. We did get a free round of drinks all the sae.

   Zaneita our waitress was amazing, whist they were a chef down she kept it all flowing and checked in on us with professionalism and humour to make the night a memorable one. Please send her our thanks!

   Exceptional! Fantastic food, excellent service and a lovely garden too. It was the perfect place for lunch today outside. We loved our time here and will definitely be back. I’m surprised it wasn’t packed out! I don’t often leave reviews just usually for a place that is very good or poor and Lussmans Highgate was exceptional.

   A pleasant lunch with excellent service. The food was tasty and well presented. My only reservation was that my steak was marginally overcooked to get it at its best. The wine, which was available in a carafe, which is always welcome for two was particularly good.

   The staff were fantastic, the website showed the restaurant was closing at 7:30pm but after I called to check all was ok. Everything was delicious and I’ve already booked to go back soon but please ensure you have sparkling water!

    Trout was excellent coudnt fault it dessert not great sugar was burnt and bitter on orange creme brulee and couldn't taste much orange
