    We went with higher expectations. It was not bad but neither what we expected. We got halibut and the lamp and they were both bit overcooked but the dish overall was good. Also we were slightly disappointed by the fact that the bar could not make a basic cocktail like a martini although the it is a restaurant and bar place. The pineapple carpaccio dessert was lovely. We would though come back to give it another chance, as it offers a significant options of fish dishes which is not easy to find in the area.

    Absolutely brilliant service. Booked the table a while ago for a birthday- we were seated in the Pine - private dining which was a real treat. Food was great and service from the lady front of house and our young waiter( sorry can’t recall the names even though we asked them last night on the way out. Would recommend!! Thank you again Jane Glean

    Our first time at the restaurant and we will certainly be back. The whole dining experience was very good and we had a wonderful evening thanks

    First visit and we all enjoyed the experience. Great service, staff very friendly and professional. We had the set menu very good value for money. Fish was really good also good range on the set menu.

    A really excellent restaurant. The food was great, staff extremely attentive and a wonderful ambiance. Would highly recommend

    Lovely new Woburn restaurant. An assert to the town. Nice ambience, attractive decor. Service was good. Food good. One or two minor comments that did not spoil our enjoyment. I ordered the special described as lamb shoulder when I think it was actually lamb shank. It was good but not shoulder of lamb. Asked for mint sauce that I like to have with lamb but they didn’t have any. One of our party ordered halibut which was excellent but a small portion for £30, especially as it needed an extra vegetable at an additional cost. One of our party chose the lunchtime set menu which was good value.

    Great food and lovely service provided by Freya for lunch with friends. Fixed price menu is a steal - the terrine great flavour and texture, and the dover sole on the bone a triumph. Would not hesitate to return - highly recommended. Good on Woburn having a large free car park 120yds from the restaurant.

    Unfortunately the table we were assigned rocked and my wife had to secure it by keeping her feet on the base. Having ordered our food we watched others who arrived and ordered after us being served food while we waited. Someone eventually noticed and it was explained that there had been a glitch in the system and it would be hurried up. As compensation the cost of our wine was taken off the bill. The food when it arrived was very good. After we left my wife checked the bill and noticed that we had been overcharged. When we got home we phoned up and pointed this out. They agreed and indicated a refund to our account when it was passed to the manager. We are still waiting for this. Such a pity as the food was good and we like the sustainable theme of the establishment.
