Major Tom is elevated yet approachable, excellent and at ease, confident and gracious. The food, the room, and the service capture the sophistication and glamour of mid-century New York penthouse life, and you feel instantly at home. We maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect, and we do this while being down-to-earth, lively, playful, quirky, fun, and full of personality.

    Me encantó estar ubicada cerca De la Torre y observar la ciudad desde arriba, la atención fue excelente y la comida deliciosa, la música precisa. Recomiendo mucho este lugar.

    Espacio agradable. Se sugiere reservar cerca de las ventanas si va a cenar de noche para tener una excelente vista de la ciudad. La atención es excelente. Comida de buen nivel.

    This my third time around, I always love their caccio y pepe, I haven’t tasted some of their food but I did try their chicken wings and I love it. The Earl Grey dessert was unexpectedly good too.

    My first time at Major Tom. LOVED IT! Unique (to Calgary) vibe, delicious food and superb service. I'll be back!

    Tash was the best!! Such kind server, amazing food and get NA cocktail menu. Best meal I had in Calgary. Love their half portions too, so suitable for solo dining

    Food was better than ever. Our server was super nice. Our best experience so far. Service could have been a bit more attentive.

    Our first visit to Major Tom and won’t be our last. Everything we ordered was excellent - shrimp and crab rolls, beet salad, steak frites, roast scallops and baked Alaska. Wonderful service.

    We have been here several times and think this was our last. The service was poor with zero warmth or smiles, we were celebrating a birthday. We asked her to take a photo of us when she had a minute. The restaurant was virtually empty as we went at 4pm…she didn’t ever take our photo. She forgot to order one of our appetizers and it came way after everything else. We asked for our kids burgers to be well done and they both came very pink. Our son has health issues so we had to wait 20 minutes for a new one. By then he wasn’t hungry as he’d eaten all his fries. The burgers said they had carmelized onions - they didn’t, just fresh sliced. There was no discount for the late appetizer or two undercooked burgers (my daughter just said it was fine she would eat hers, then didn’t cause it had Dijon which wasn’t in the description) the one being remade came 20 minutes late. This seems unusual in the restaurant industry and very discourteous to make so many mistakes and do nothing satisfactory to rectify them and ensure the client feels they had a good experience. I am over it. Won’t go back.
