   The ambiance was beautiful. The food was amazing as well as the service.The only negative was bread was not included with the meal. We are looking forward to a lunch experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family!

   Horrible experience. Didn’t even ask if I had a reservation. Sat us and never got greeted even though server only had two tables. At about 15 mins we just left. I figured why waste my money.

   The lobster mac and cheese that our table shared was to die for and the service in the bar was great. The Thai salad the ordered was ok, nothing extra special. It was a large portion and flavor was good but the sauce was watery which was a turn off. A steak was ordered at our table as medium rare and it came out well done. Our server did a great job of making it right, but it did extend our stay and it was an inconvenience. A solid 3 stars is what I give Mallards on this particular evening. I may go back but I admit that I am a bit leery. I would order something different as my main and I would read other reviews for their suggestions.

   The first less than stellar experience at Mallard's; our Daily Bread appetizer was delayed and while they did apologize for that, there was about 90 seconds between the bread showing up and our entrees arriving, which meant that one of the two things was going to get cold before the other could be enjoyed.

   The customer service wasn't to welcoming when we arrived, even though I had an appointment. When we were seated, we waited about 20 minutes before anyone said anything. I initiated the contact with the bartender as to how to get an order. He said a waiter should arrive soon. About ten minutes more, one did arrive. He was courteous, however I had to ask him his name. I told him it our first time patronizing the restaurant but he offered no suggestions. The food was delicious but the customer service was not good.

   Service was good and menu selection great. This time food was barely warm. Biscuits were cold. Not busy so not sure what the problem was. Probably should have sent orders back but did not want to wait.

    The more our server got intoxicated with the bartender and their friends sitting at the bar, the more personable he became, but also became less attentive. We sat with empty drinks and empty plates for at least 10 minutes.
