Mama Delia, located in Chicago's Wicker Park, is a modern Spanish restaurant and sherry bar offering a fresh take on what is happening in Spain today.

Mama Delia is a celebration of the authentic culture of Spain, today. Via our frequent trips to Spain each year, we are able to experience first-hand the cultural shifts this dynamic country undergoes and bring those flavors and culinary traditions back to Chicago.

Led by Chef Marcos Campos, our menus showcase the exquisite regional products of Spain with dishes that are ingredient-driven and nostalgic. Following Chef Marcos’ lead, desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Shannah Primiano combine classic Spanish sweet dishes with her more contemporary methods and intriguing ingredient pairings. The award-winning beverage team, led by industry vanguard Brian Sturgulewski, has built Mama Delia’s bar program around the inimitable versatility of sherry, not only as a world class wine but also as a cocktail ingredient without parallel.

    Me pareció muy rico pero en precios creo que está elevado por la cantidad de comida que dan. La calidad es muy buena.

    Awkward seating. We were seated at a huge table and when asked to change we were told that the other table were for reserved guests. Incidentally we also had advance reservations for four. Needless to say the dinner was spent periodically having to shout across the table to be heard. Our food was served timely but some items were not as good. Will not recommend the flat bread and the Tuna Tatar but the rest of items we ordered were very good.

    The valentines menu was fine, the wine offerings were not amazing they were ok. I wish they had 2 dessert options to select from. Overall ok but not wow

    Great food and service! Some things were sold out and it was a little chilly upstairs, but overall a great experience. Servers were knowledgeable and made good recommendations.

    Place was cool, but the foodrunner kept coming to our table while we were still eating. At one point a main entree was delivered, minutes later the foodrunner was asking if he could take away the plate. Also the foodrunner was just ok and kinda cold, meats were over cooked.

    Food was great but the service felt rushed. They kept trying to take my plate away with food still on it only a few minutes after arriving.

    Everything was great and we had the Restaurant Week Menu. Drinks were delicious as well as the food. Our only critique was that the music was loud and the temperature fluctuated quite a bit

    We visited during Restaurant Week, and the menu was absolutely magnificent. The portion sizes were generous, and every dish was delicious. I already love this restaurant, but they truly outdid themselves with the special menu for Restaurant Week!

    My husband and I loved this place the first time we went, but both agreed that the food was not nearly as good this time. Maybe it was because we had the restaurant week menu. Some dishes were tastier than others, but overall unremarkable. The ambience downstairs is terrific, however we were seated on the 3rd floor and it wasn’t as good of a vibe. Service was just ok.
