Mano a Mano is a pasta and wine joint that celebrates classic preparations of traditional recipes. With a wine program focused on 100% Italian grapes that are comforting and familiar. Went last minute so only able to get a late reservation; worth the wait! We were blown away with the food and service was excellent.

This was our first visit. The service was superb in all aspects. The food is inventive and well prepared. Not all dishes were fully successful but all displayed creativity. The deserts wrere wonderful. The ambience was very comfortable and inviting. All staff. were friendly and welcoming. A word of caution. The City of Chicago in their infinite wisdom has installed bike lanes on Milwaukee Ave. and effectively reduced street parking by 50 percent. There is valet parking next door and save yourself aggravation by using it.

Great food, everything was delicious. We live close by and have been here a couple of times, love that they have a community table for walk ins since reservations are hard to get. I have a cough and jokingly asked if they could make me a hot toddy. After initially saying no, they procured the ingredients and surprised me with one, which I thought was super extra!

Interesting menu. Good wine list - but small. Pasta was a little too rich. Great service. Nice playlist.
