We had an 11am reservation, which said there was a 15 grace period. We couldn’t find parking and ended up on the other side of the neighboring restaurant. We walked in at 11:10 to be told that after 10 min our reservation is released. We ended up waiting an additional 25 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, it took 10 minutes for our waiter to Come take our drink order and realize the hostess hadn’t given us menus. I’ve been there for several large party events without issues but haven’t been in a while, so it was disappointing. Our waiter was very nice but seemed to have a lot of tables and the food was good.

We love this place! The decor, the staff and overall vibe. However this trip was a little disappointing. We were super excited about the Valentines menu and knew how busy they would be, so booked table for 5:45. Finished our appetizers and entrees which were both good only to find out the cheesecake had ran out. This may not sound like a big deal to some but it is my wife's favorite dessert and she gave me half of her entree to save room for it. If you have a special menu for an occasion that only has two apps, two entrees and two desserts, how to you run out in the first two hours.

Amazing experience for Valentines Day and our Anniversary! The oysters were amazing! Shrimp and grits absolutely delicious! And the gumbo was the best I have had since Antoine’s in New Orleans!

When we arrived at our reservation the restaurant was very empty but the host sat us between 3 groups ??? It was Valentine’s Day ?? The rest of the place was almost empty and when we left it was still less than a third full … so we spent our special lunch crowded listening to people all around us on our special day

The food was overall excellent with two caveats: The crusted redfish needs more sauce; the amount provided is woefully inadequate (and this feedback was already provided a year ago). The elk chops are accompanied by some hashbrown type potatoes which were severely over-salted; couldn’t take more than a couple bites.

Beautiful dining experience and very affordable. Every aspect of our meal was excellent. The drinks were tasteful as well. Must try the fried green tomatoes appetizer. Such a pleasing appetizer. We will definitely dine here again.

Always a nice meal here. Went this time to try brunch, and while there were many buffet selections that my seatmates enjoyed I stuck to an entree on the regular brunch menu. Our collective sadness on the food is that a few things were a bit salty and there were definitely not enough vegetables. My Cajun Hash, which was supposed to have tri-colored bell peppers, barely had any (I saw one sliver of green pepper), same with another seatmate who ordered the same dish. The couple across from us said there was salad and green beans as the only veggie choices on the buffet - though they did immensely enjoy the seafood (shrimp and crab legs). I always enjoy the Louisiana spice, seatmates found some things too spicy. Also a two-piece jazz ensemble playing added to the ambiance, which was nice, though the truly high ceilings makes the noise level inside a bit loud and hard to hear your tablemates. No worries, I'll still return another time.
