   I’m so glad that this pub is under new management and new staff. I didn’t think I’d eat here again but the young girl convinced us that the new chef was great and she wasn’t wrong so I booked. The burger was so nice and there is so much choice on the menu. I’m glad we gave it an other chance. It’s actually a really great location after a dog walk in the marina and they are very dog friendly.

   We had a great experience here ! Food was lovely & delivered in good time , the staff were excellent & friendly ! They went above & beyond for us ! Dog friendly too

   How pictures can be deceiving! Booked this place online as was in the area & it looked great on the website. The pub itself is pretty rough, & not very clean with odd stairs on the ceiling! The service was average but if the chef & the bar staff weren’t throwing chips at each other, it could have been better? My chicken & chips were definitely from frozen & my sis burger was pure grease. It became totally apparent why we were the only people eating on a Friday night!

   Booked Sunday roast for 1.30. Ordered roast chicken as per menu. It came with no roast potatoes, no stuffing, no pigs in blankets. When asked they replied they had no stuffing. We asked for what we should have got and the girl agreed but nothing arrived. Staff looked 16 and clearly no idea of what they should be doing. Will not be going back

   Bank holiday weekend really busy think they just reopened chaos lots of time waiting for food not too bad when it arrived eventually good service though.

   Waited 2 hours for food to be told there was no steak was asked to pick something else we did waited another hour went over they had forgot to bring it out chicken wings was hard and cold baby got about 10 chips was a absolute joke will never eat there again you was looking at 10pm at this point and couldn’t go any were else

   Two young staff had been left alone to cope with an overflowing pub of people watching the final match. There should have been another senior member of staff with them. That said the 2 young people were absolutely fantastic, polite, smiling despite not having a minute to catch their breath and coped brilliantly. But shame on the Manager for leaving them on one of the pubs busiest days of the year.

    Partner booked for lunch with my mother forgetting the match was being shown. Understaffed and a long wait for food and long queues for drinks. Could not knock the food, very good but no condiments were available or offered!
