The food, ambiance, and staff incredible. From the manager to the wait staff, they were terrific.\n\nI had a special circumstance where I had a timing issue and a valet need. But Mariscos San Pedro was worth every penny, and then some. The server (John) was knowledgeable and personable, and made great recommendations. He paced the courses perfectly, and kept an eye on us without being intrusive (you don't realize what a premium skill that is until you experience it). We'll be talking about that meal for a long time to come, and we'll definitely be back. The Baja fish tacos and the mussels were standouts for me, but every single bite of that dinner was perfect. Wood fired shrimp, tacos dorado, and Korean bbq cobia collar were great dishes. Dessert was also great with a tres leches cake done up like strawberry shortcake. Our main issue was service. The restaurant seemed to be well understated for wait staff. We were seated promptly but our waiter took roughly 10 minutes to get to the table. He said he would do drinks then be back in a bit for food orders.
