    Nice place for a date night! Food and service were really good! Gluten free pasta was probably the best I’ve ever had!! Enjoyed the espresso martini with dessert.

    Amazing service and food! Authentic Italian! Knowledgable server. Family of 4, with children 12 and 10, we all loved Matteo’s!

    Our waiter was over the top with the service ! My daughter has food restrictions and he made her food perfect ! The meal was delicious in every way . The bread was hot and soft and buttery , the special pasta was beefy but delicate , the Caesar crunchy and not wilted !

    I love the new location, much bigger but it can also be a bit noisy and the lighting in the back room needs help. The waitress brought a table light, which was perfect. The food is fantastic. My buffalo short rib fell off the bone, slightly caramelised and delicious. Don't miss the brownie tiramisu. Not overly sweet and surprisingly light.

    First time to Matteo and will return. Came on symphony night so an easy walk to Abravanel Hall and plenty of parking close by. The space used to be an Olive Garden but has been completely remodeled. We were seated in an area that does not have natural light so it was cavelike with the walls being brick. Floors are not finished so you can see bare concrete including old construction details. Not the best but certainly can be improved when they have the opportunity to do so. Decorating is tasteful which is a big plus. Tables had ample room and seating was comfortable. Started with bottled water anyway bread service which included olive selection that was very good. Split the pear and blue cheese salad that was fantastic, my wife generally shy away from blue cheese but she loved the salad, eating two thirds of it. My wife ordered the ricotta with beef which she also liked due to the rough cut pasta, veggies and beef which was pulled tenderly. I ordered the ciopinno Seoul as I am alway looking for the best fisherman’s stew in the US. I was not disappointed with the rich soup texture and the extremely liberal portions of fin and shellfish. I ate every drop, bravo! My wife had a dessert which was chocolate mousse on top of a brownie which she enjoyed. I ordered the Bread Pudding with limoncello ice cream. The bread pudding was better than average but the ice cream was exceptionally made. Perfect balance, texture and not too strong flavor. Next time I’ll ask for two scoops and skip the bread. Our server (Delaney) was such a delight and so attentive as well including the entire staff for the ENTIRE meal. Have noticed the the decline of the profession at our table side over the last ten years it so refreshing to find people who care. This alone requires us to return many times and explore the menu further.

    We celebrated a 79th birthday and it was fabulous. The food was fantastic! It was an overall outstanding experience. Cannot wait to come back
