I want to share my experience from last night at this restaurant, which I have frequented many times in the past. While I've always found it enjoyable, I was left quite disappointed this visit due to a significant menu change. The selection was limited, and the prices felt exorbitant. I had taken my parents out as a special treat during my Christmas visit from Toronto, hoping for a memorable meal together. Unfortunately, my chicken dish was extremely dry, while my dad ordered fish and my mom chose steak, neither of which impressed us. I was particularly disheartened to discover that they have removed lamb from the menu entirely. To add to our disappointment, my parents, who don't drink, saw our bill surpassing €200. Given this experience, I'm uncertain if I will return in the future.

Have been at Maximillions for many years and always had an enjoyable experience, as we did last night.Food and service were excrllent but portions have decreased and prices increased.Perhaps next time we won't bother with the starter. Despite this, i would recommend Maxiimillians

We loved the menu choices...had hake/ scallops/ beef cheek plus sides. The attention to detail in the food was wonderful. Everything all 3 of us were served was carefully cooked and presented, and tasted beautiful. Desserts lived up to same high standard. Wine was competitively priced and did not disappoint either. Service was relaxed, attentive and friendly. We have been meeting up here for a few years now at Christmas because we really liked Maximilians, but this year's was absolutely the best. I don't live near, but will be here more often than Christmas in future.

Enjoyed it, had a good time, Bit difficult to find if you not use to the area , Food was really good . Will be back

starters were satisfactory. Mains of pizza and chicken were very poor. The seafood linguini was satisfactory

This was my second visit to Maximillian Bistro within a month, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed. The staff greeted us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. We opted for soft drinks and water, which perfectly complemented our dining experience. We had made a reservation, and although the restaurant was bustling with activity, it maintained a pleasant atmosphere that allowed for easy conversation without the noise becoming overwhelming. The food, as always, was top-notch, making the evening truly enjoyable. I would go again and recommend it to a friend.

Great food and lovely staff. I had the beef cheek and it was perfect. The only thing they didn’t specify if it was the right or the left cheek :) It was a great experience and overall a real fine dining in Dublin 15.
