Good News.. We are walk-in only for dinner 7 days a week. INSIDER TIP: Dinner reservations after 9pm can be made here. You can make Brunch reservations here and you can also contact us a mail@mediumrarerestaurant.com for larger parties and private events. A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great bottomless prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers.

Probably my worst dining (or not since I couldn’t be seated) in NYC. We showed up to our reservation on time, just to be told by a receptionist that “there was nothing she could do and we would have to wait 45 minutes”. She then proceeded to ask me and my family, including my two senior parents, to move away because we were too close to the check in, even though there were 15+ people smushed together there. After that, my wife went to the podium to talk and she started screaming at her, completely out of line. I went there the opening week and was excited to take my family, but really disappointed.

Our server was amazing. She made the experience 100/10. Will come back again when we’re visiting NYC!

Went with a few friends & family and had an awesome experience. Staff was so nice. The restaurant was very well set up and the food was so good. Great place to go if you like steak for sure.

Food was delicious, great service, I wish the steak was a bit hotter in temperature but cooked perfectly.

I am a 70yr old male- who has loved steak and potatoes all my life. Middle- upper middle class - live in NYC- have been to best steakhouses throughout NYC! Medium Rare- fits in a place - for steak lovers that has never happened before!! You cannot have that delicious RIBEYE- or Porterhouse- that you can in all the famous cities including NYC - HOWEVER- for $34.95- all the bread- salad you can eat - then delicious sliced steak with tons of French fries is the perfect target price that for the quality of food- is the PERFECT PRICE POINT! What shocked me even more after my friend and I finished this delicious meal- the waitress came over and asked if we were ready for our next portion - !!! Bewildered- we asked? Yes- a second serving of both steak and fries are waiting for you!! We were so full- asked if we can have to go- and they did!! If corporate does this right- I feel this will be the fastest growing “ high end “ chain EVER!! Thank you for a delicious meal that is AFFORDABLE!! Elliot
