Good News.. We are walk-in only for dinner 7 days a week. INSIDER TIP: Dinner reservations after 9pm can be made here. You can make Brunch reservations here and you can also contact us a mail@mediumrarerestaurant.com for larger parties and private events. A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great bottomless prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers.

This was actually better then we thought thinking if you only do one thing you can’t do it wrong but the fact of the matter is they do it amazingly!!

our reservation was at 8:15 and when we got there the entire area by the hostess was packed full of people (like sardines) all who had reservations. we heard people had been waiting for an hour. at 8:50 the hostess asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar bc if not we'd have to wait even longer, even though our reservation was at 8:15. what's the point of having a reservation if you can't sit down on time or where you booked??????

Awful experience! We left after waiting for a table for 30 minutes….with a reservation?!? We were crammed into the restaurant entrance with other customers who were waiting. Having been told we were next the Hostess then proceeded to seat another 3 tables ahead of us, all of which had arrived after us! After speaking to the hostess about this we informed her that we would be leaving if we weren’t seated soon, to which the reply was “do what you want it doesn’t really affect me” ??!! Absolutely terrible attitude and it was at that point we left. Awful service, we will not be back

Awesome experience - food and service was top notch. Need a better place for people to wait as the bar was so crowded with a large party we had there behinds in our face and the young girls flipping hair over our table. Also music and noise volume very loud. I will come back !!!!

This is a brilliant concept for a restaurant- do one thing but do it spectacularly well. Medium Rare delivers on every level. It’s a cozy neighborhood place, off the tourist path and feels local. The hot artisan bread with butter starts the festivities, followed by a simply dressed salad. The blackberry sangria, Gold Rush, and Lavender 75 cocktails we tried were extremely tasty. The steak arrived cooked to perfection and the frites were some of the best I ever tasted. Apple pie with ice cream? Yes please. Unbelievably great dinner at reasonable prices, best meal we had in New York. We had a similar dinner at L’Entrecote in Paris, so I was familiar with it and eager to try it here. I wish more cities would develop this concept.

Steak & Fries were delicious as was the sauce. Had 2 helpings & was offered a third but declined. Good size portions. Great value for money. Would definitely go back again

We LOVED Medium Rare. The food and service was fabulous. The manager was great and Brenden was an amazing server. Would definitely go back!
