Good News.. We are walk-in only for dinner 7 days a week. INSIDER TIP: Dinner reservations after 9pm can be made here. You can make Brunch reservations here and you can also contact us a mail@mediumrarerestaurant.com for larger parties and private events. A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique, prix fixe dining experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak (with our secret sauce); and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great bottomless prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers.

Bottomless brunch does NOT include bottomless food. Steak was great, I was not crazy about the poached eggs. Service was a little neglected considering there weren’t too many tables (12:15 brunch). Drinks were good, a little light on alcohol which I’m honestly in support of considering it is bottomless. Overall I would go back but probably to see the dinner service. Oh and the bathroom teaches you how to flirt in French which is fun.

We came to Medium Rare on our first night in New York City and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the food was incredible! We were in and out in around an hour and would struggle to find fault with the service and food we received. We will be recommending Medium Rare to all of our friends and family who visit New York City and will be sure to visit again on any future trips.

Similarly to Relais de Venise, this restaurant serves one set menu; anything you want as long as it's salad and steak frites. All they ask is how you want your steak done. Their bread, the best thing they serve, is superior to Relais'. Their french fries are on a part with Relais." But the rest of the food pales by comparison. The steak was tough and stringy, the sauce was gloppy and flavorless, the salad dressing was unmemorable. The restaurant itself was loud, with tables and diners crammed together. They seemed understaffed. And even though we had made a reservation (another "plus" since Relais doesn't take reservations at all), we were told that our table would not be ready for at least 15 minutes, and so we ended up eating at the bar. That actually turned out to be an advantage, since it meant we could watch the chaotic service and large, noisy parties without having to be in the middle of it all. The restaurant is a good idea, but ultimately not worth the wait.

Yasmin our waitress was phenomenal!! Recommend delicious drinks and was so attentive … the food was amazing and the music is great too !

Th food was delicious and the place was really cute! Brendon K was the best server of the night!! Friendly, attentive and respectful. We will definitely go back!!!

Overall, the experience was great. It’s very straightforward and the steak was very tender. The fries not overcooked and the special sauce was very good. They time it just right after your first serving…and then on to Round 2. The cuts are just as tender. The seating is a little close, lighting is low and noise level isn’t ideal for much conversation but the value and quality are a 10.

It’s a great deal for the price. The food is very good and the deserts even better. It’s just way to loud and a bit crowded in there. The tables are very close together and the music and noise makes it’s hard to have a conversation without yelling. Overall service was okay.

Brilliant place if you like lots of food and energy. Steak was gorgeous although we only had rare, plenty of it and the puddings were humongous!
