The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

    We celebrated my birthday with a mix of fabulous small plates. Our server was excellent every step of the way.

    Our server Lucas was amazing!! Not only was he friendly he also gave the best recommendation everything was delicious but ultimately we will be coming back for Lucas, his service was spectacular

    I have never been to Melina for Sunday brunch before so a word of advice to those with food intolerances. I was told by the server that there were no brunch items which were both gluten and lactose free. So I had the catch of the day - which was good - but wish I had known that I wouldn't have more options.

    The wait staff here are phenomenal and very personable. They were quick to bring out dishes and cleaned up dishes after we lingered over our empty plates--this was a positive in my book. The Cheese pie was really to die for. It was "weird" that there is honey spread over the top, but it added so much flavor to the pie! Trust me. Get this! Roasted Squash was loved by a anti-veggie person at our table, so it too was a really great dish. It is so full of flavor! By all means get the Greek doughnuts for dessert. You will not be sorry. One order was enough for our table of 4. The non-alcoholic drinks were true winners for us teetotalers and the wine selection was very good for those who were imbibing.

    Second time there. Food and service are amazing. We’ll be back. Wonderful acknowledgement of the birthday at our table…card and dessert.

    On our first visit to this restaurant, our party of four enjoyed it immensely! The food was amazing. The salads in particular were substantial and delicious! Service was excellent. Noise level was lower than most restaurants and we all felt we got excellent value. We will return!
