    Mercat Bistro's Polar Bear Room presents a unique memorable experience to dine amongst the festive polar bears. This experience is for the surrounding tables in the Polar Bear Room and does not guarantee a table in front of the dancing polar bears. These tables require a $25 deposit per person which will be applied as the minimum toward your final bill (excluding tax & gratuity). To guarantee a table in front of the polar bears, please book the Polar Bear Table experience.

    Mercat Bistro's Polar Bear Table is back! Dine in our winter wonderland with dancing polar bears. This famous table guarantees premier placement to dine in front of the magical, musical polar bears - an enchanting holiday experience for the whole family. This table requires a $100 non-refundable booking fee. Polar Bear Table reservations are limited and subject to availability for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

    They didn’t have two options listed on the kids menu. They couldn’t make Shirley Temples for the kids even though the waitress suggested it. They were out of crème brûlée. The tables were super small even with two kids. We paid to see the bears and reserved about a month ago. We were seated behind a giant white tree, three members of our party could not see the bears at all during dinner. It was very disappointing since we came to see the bears during dinner. My kids were sad.

    Charming but sophisticated in the true style of a French bistro. Great selections in all menu categories. Attentive but casual service. Would definitely dine there again.... and soon.

    Such a great bistro atmosphere with staff clearly working very hard which was appreciated! Our steaks were over cooked which was disappointing, but our other food was very good.

    The service was extremely slow. It took over an hour to get the food, which was cold and didn’t taste good. I’ve had good experiences here before, but this was really bad

    Sat in the “gazebo” across from the main entrance. Absolutely lovely. Ambiance was great and food was really good. They store their wines in a cellar so the older wine that I selected had aged properly. Absolutely will be back the next time we are in town.

    The food was fantastic. Our server was great, but regrettably he had to handle the entire dining room by himself, which left him unable to provide speedy service. Our only real complaint was being sat so close to other people. I know it’s a part of the ambiance, but being sat nearly should to shoulder with other people wasn’t necessarily what we envisioned as an intimate dinner. Nonetheless the food made up for all this. Would return without questions.

    This was my 1st time visiting this establishment. The hostess at the door was friendly and welcoming, even wishing me a happy birthday.. The waitress was pleasant and professional. My friend and I both ordered the Crepes Suzette and mocktails. Everything was delicious, and i was pleasantly surprised at the taste of my meal, as it was the 1st time I had tried that particular dish. Also, the food was at perfect temperature and was brought out promptly. Moreover, after our meal, the waitress bought out a complimentary dish with 2 macaroons, garnished with blueberries and lit with candles in celebration of I amd my friends birthday.. I would definitely visit this charming place again.

    Always a wonderful experience! The pastry basket is out of this world tasty, especially the pistachio roll. Ambience is energetic and the christmas decor is festive and beautiful. A happy place for sure. Always 5 star service even when very busy.
