Such a lovely spot overlooking Hapuna Beach. Food was exquisite (we had a Bert and tomato salad, seared Foie Gras and the paella. All were to die for. The chicken at the next table looked great, but why turn Dian paella?). Only downgrades were for service - dint get me wrong, it was excellent, but there were a couple of times it lagged - and noise level which would have been 5 stars if the parents of the noisy kids next to us had controlled their kids. If you can get a table without the noisy kids, this would be the perfect date night restaurant

Excellent service, food, atmosphere and gorgeous sunset views. Salad, branzino, and lava cake with vanilla ice cream were all delicious! Very pleased we decided to eat here!

We had the squash bisque and crisp trio for appetizers- both were delicious. Paella and the sea bass special for dinner and again both were very good. Overall very nice experience- Michael was our server and did a nice job - would definitely recommend and would go back on our next trip to the island

Great date night at Meridia. Spectacular sunset view at the best table in the house. (Note there really isn’t a bad seat in the building). Our server Elizabeth was outstanding! Really the bestest ever! Great information on all the entrees, specials and cocktails. She even gave a great astrological update, as the planets were still marching along. Food was amazing from the fresh oysters, the bacon wrapped dates, Lamb and the cauliflower steak dinner was loaded with fresh local vegetables. The Spanish style cheesecake was the wife’s favorite cheesecake of All time! With the kama’aina discount, the total bill amount was stunningly low. Value of the entire evening, outstanding. Note, parking is a lot easier now, no self parking at Hapuna Prince. Valet service was staffed by very a friendly team. Can’t wait to go back!

Our dinner at Meridia was nothing short of extraordinary! From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our fantastic server, Elizabeth. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and thoughtful recommendations took the evening to a whole new level. The local cuisine was absolutely delightful. We started with fresh breads, a vibrant caprese salad, and a warm beet and tomato Greek salad — each bite bursting with flavor. For dinner, we enjoyed the perfectly grilled octopus, tender ahi, and a roasted cauliflower steak that was just incredible. And then came dessert — wow! The Spanish cheesecake was to die for — so light and flavorful — and the Warm Honoka'a Chocolate Torta was pure indulgence. Each dish felt carefully prepared and beautifully presented. To top it off, we sampled a few wines before settling on the Sancerre, which paired perfectly with our meal. It was a magical evening — dining under the stars with planets aligning above us — and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. Thank you, Meridia (and especially Elizabeth), for a night we'll always cherish!

Lovely setting and Mediterranean cuisine which can be a break from local Hawaiian fare. The abalone and fois gras appetizers were delicious and the abalone especially uniquely presentation. The shrimps in the appetizer and paella were large and sweet, and the trio of warm breads ensured the delicious sauce was enjoyed to the last drop. The Sicilian Mai Tai cocktail was too pineapple sweet for my taste.

Michael and the rest of the staff were terrific. They took great care of us. The highlight by far was the piano music from Karl. He's a one in a million pro and we'll look for him at other venues. Mahalo
