   Mi familia y yo fuimos a tomar el brunch este domingo, el ambiente estuvo muy agradable y la comida deliciosa, nos encantó el pork chop y el steak, los sabores estaban muy bien equilibrados.

   We made a reservation for 11 PM following an event in Houston. We arrived before 11 PM and were asked to sit at the bar as the restaurant was about to close. We were ok with that, but why are you accepting reservations at a time you are closing? You were not closing or closed. When we got to the bar, the bartender told us we had to hurry up and order as “we are closing”. The bartender was rude and obnoxious. I had heard a lot of nice and great things about this new restaurant and wanted to try it. We just wanted to have some appetizers and a drink. They were able to accommodate us just fine. No idea why they had to be so rude towards us about when we arrived and wanting to have a bite. Food was excellent. Drinks were great, although the didn’t have Cabernet Sauvignon? Who doesn’t have Cab? Questionable experience. Not sure about returning if this is the norm.

   Service was above and beyond and the food was definitely a step up from traditional texmex!

   Food was delicious not a long wait time, drinks were very refreshing. The service was our only issue, server didn’t come to our table to check on us as frequent as he should have. We waited over 10min for a drink refill, and even longer for the bill.

   This was our first time at this location. The service, food and drinks were excellent!! We will definitely be back to try other dishes!😋😋😋

   Absolutely loved the food and the vibes! Every thing was delicious and the drinks were nice and stiff. Our waiter was attentive and the service was quick. Will be returning!

   We had a great experience at Mexican Sugar! The food was wonderful, and they were accommodating when we requested a different table to be out of the sun. Would definitely return!

    Absolutely wonderful experience at Mexican Sugar, food & drinks were delicious. Environment was great, and our waitress Jennifer was amazing. 10/10 recommend and will be back.
