Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. Their six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all.

    Our private dining space is located in the basement of our Covent Garden restaurant. The room has movable seating to assist in creating a flexible and memorable gathering for up to 10 guests. Jane’s table is named after our founder, Jane Muir, who opened the very first Mildreds restaurant in Soho in 1988. Cost of space: from open until 11am, £200 minimum spend per 2 hour seating Please note that we require a deposit to secure the booking, fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. Any decorations brought to Mildreds will need to be removed and disposed of appropriately by the organiser after the event.

    I booked for a table of 12 for Sunday brunch and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and restaurant. Specifically the special Mexican menu for Veganuary - the pozole rojo and burrito were delicious. The pancakes were also a hit. A large portion of our party said they would love to return to Mildreds for dinner. Service was attentive and food was served quickly. We arrived at 12pm and were finished eating after 70 minutes. Portion sizes were generous. Though we didn't have any vegans (and only two vegetarians in our party) everyone enjoyed the menu choices and food. Highly recommended for a cosy, casual dining experience that does not disappoint.

    Too noisy, so conversation is always difficult. We keep coming back, though!

    The food was absolutely delicious, I am not vegan in the slightest and have absolutely loved my meal. Despite having a booking we were initially sat at the worst table, between the till and where people wait to be sat. We asked a waitress if it was possible to move and she dismissed us rudely. The host (very lovely man) nicely moved us to a quieter seat. There was a mistake in our order and both our courses were wrong. I’d go back for the food, but probably wouldn’t go back to the Covent Garden branch.

    Amazing food. From the minute I walked in everything smelled so good and I wanted to eat everything! Non-alcohol cocktails were fab. Service was great - they made good recommendations about the food and we weren’t rushed at all. Can’t wait to go back.

    Yet another delicious meal. Introduced two friends to Mildred's and they loved the food the decor and the friendly staff. Our waiter was wonderful. I always leave feeling pleasantly full.

    Great food and lots to choose from but restaurant was as hot as a sauna! We were two dining and shown to a tiny table in a cramped area at the back of the restaurant. If it wasn’t so hot and cramped I’d have given 5 stars.

    We were taken downstairs to our table of six.  first impressions place was clean. Staff was very attentive. And acknowledged us by the door.. food was nice, I would not say outstanding, maybe we ordered wrong things. Service was great.

    The service was slow, even though the restaurant was not full. We were overcharged and when we went to dispute it the waiter said that's what's on the system, meaning I was forced to pay. As it was a meal for a client. I felt I had to pay the full bill to avoid the embarrassment. The food was nice, but the service was awful.

    Have been a customer of Mildreds since the early days in Frith Street. Good to have a more varied menu now, not just burgers and fake meat, we had the mushroom and ale pie, a classic from the old Mildreds. Discovered 6.30 on a Saturday is not the best time to go, particularly pre-theatre, it's so, so busy. But the food was great and came remarkably quickly and we made the show.
