                                                2nd time I've been to Mildreds now. I'm not personally vegan, but have friends who are. The food is exceptional quality and you don't leave feeling like anything was missing as a non-vegan. The arancini were honestly the best I've had anywhere (including meat ones) and I'm an arancini lover, so I've sampled many! Good ambience in the restaurant, if a little loud. My only real complaint is it's very hot in there, all 3 of us were melting. Could do with keeping it a few degrees cooler, maybe just not blasting the heaters quite so strongly, especially as people are generally wearing warmer clothes this time of year too! Overall very good experience and will definitely return

                                                The food was very tasty and we all enjoyed our main courses. I found the desert a little disappointing- sticky toffee pudding - the sponge texture was a bit dry. Jolly ambience but I would prefer a little more space between tables for access and also for distance to other diners. Our server was delightful, really warm, friendly and professional.

                                                This was the first time visiting Mildred's King's X as I usually dine at Mildred's Covent Garden. Initially, the ambience felt more industrial and less vibrant, however I quickly found that I felt at ease in the restaurant. The ambience was buzzy without being too noisy or energetic, which allowed my friend and I to have a good catch-up. The staff were friendly and relaxed. There was plenty of space for new diners so there was no need to rush us out within our 90 min booking window. The food was a delicious as ever. All in all a happy experience

                                                I always come back for their mushroom pie. I used to go Mildred when I was a student. The pie is still good. The service is good and it is a good place to eat near Kings Cross area. Apart from chain cafe and fast food. Mildred is just 5 mins walk from station and good place to have a meal.

                                                I have been dining at Mildreds for many years, and for the first time I was disappointed. I booked a table for 4 online for a Christmas meal and was not told the booking would be for a limited seating time. We arrived on time and were asked to wait for our table. After our mains we wanted to order dessert, but were told we had to leave the table and either be served dessert at the bar or as takeaway. I appreciate this is a busy time of year, but think the restaurant was not allowing enough seating time for guests, and for the price paid this is not really acceptable. We were offered a free dessert for takeaway after they realised we were not happy. This was a nice gesture but we did not leave the house for a takeaway, so it did not feel like it made up for the disappointment. Overall, the food was still as good as it has been, but I would not recommend it at Christmas or any busy period.
