Located on the outskirts of Toronto’s vibrant Yorkville neighbourhood, the MIMI story begins with memories of the past. Loud conversation over plates of steaming noodles.     Excellent food and service, really enjoyed the hidden crispy chicken. Their food portions are big enough to share among 2 or 3 people

    The food was amazing, server was super friendly and knowledgeable and the clientele ranged from those there dressed up celebrating a special occasion to those hitting g their favourite neighborhood spot. Thanks for the amazing experience.

    The food was explained and recommended to my party of 4. Everything ordered was great!! The food was absolutely delicious! Service was impeccable!

    This is a modern Chinese restaurant -upscale, lively and fun! The servers were excellent, explaining how the menu worked and recommending quantities o food for the 2 of us. The food was traditional with a delicious modern spin: BBQ pork with a drizzle of honey, stir fried. green with a drizzle of chilli oil. The open kitchen is always a plus, and the only criticism we had was that it was difficult to eat the food over rice from the large bowls provided - chopsticks are made for small bowls. This place is definitely worth a visit when in Toronto!

    Modern upscale Chinese, interesting and unusual dishes. Pricey wine list, great ambiance and decor, excellent service. All staff was really great. Would totally recommend and go back to try more of the interesting menu

    Everything we ate was exceptional with service to match. Seyung (the manager) was very kind and accommodating to our dietary restrictions. 10/10 would recommend!

    This was the third chefs choice menu we tried at MIMI. This time was disappointing compared to the rest. We were a table of four. After ordering we clearly notified the servers of one of our guest’s peanut allergy. The first courses came and fortunately we looked under the draped pieces of tuna which had peanuts and quickly sent it back to the staff. This certainly could have been a disaster. The other dishes were good but seemed to be a bit repetitive and carb heavy including 2 similar roast pork dishes. We would have loved other classics such as the 4 foot noodles and whole fish but unfortunately never received this. Certainly we understand a rotating chefs menu but this time the food just didn’t hit like times in the past. Our friends also thought that while good, something was left to be desired. We would like to try MIMI again in the future but probably would stick to the Alacarte menu next time.

    Food was very good, I was a bit disappointed as the four foot noodles was why I went and unfortunately they were more spicy ( like very hot!)than usual. The deboned fish had a ton of bones and one of my friends had a coughing fit so be careful. But overall the food was good. The servers were very attentive and knowledgable about the menu but I would say the service was slow. As a whole it was a very expensive meal and I am not sure for what you get if it’s worth the price. Not sure if I’d go back unfortunately but glad I tried it.

    I’ve always really enjoyed going here. I was slightly disappointed in my most recent visit. The food was good but not as good as usual. I’ll certainly be coming back but this past visit was just shy of excellent. The cake with the condensed milk was as good as ever. The hidden chicken was a little dry but the rolled noodles were good. I wish they would bring back the scallion noodles - this was the best dish. Drinks, as usual, were great.
