Located on the outskirts of Toronto’s vibrant Yorkville neighbourhood, the MIMI story begins with memories of the past. Loud conversation over plates of steaming noodles. The rush of servers moving quickly about in starched white dress shirts and pressed black bow ties. Darkly lit nooks with deep shades of red. Mister Jiu's, helmed by executive chef Brandon Jew, is a contemporary Chinese American restaurant in San Francisco. We're excited to present this tasting experience created by Brandon and the MIMI team. Given the nature of this menu, we are unable to accommodate guests with the following dietary restrictions: no gluten, no soy, no shellfish, vegetarians, and vegans.

    It was an impromptu reservation for 1. I ate at the bar and with the help of the knowledgeable bartender I ordered the supreme rice, hidden crispy fried chicken with 100 heaven facing chilies and the smacked cucumber salad and finished with a sake. It was a dimly lit restaurant that set a moody vibe. It would be great for a date night or for a group of 4-6 friends and family. Everything was tasty and my cocktail was delicious. Overall, I will be back with my partner and I recommend MIMI.

    Amazing food and service! Very accommodating to gluten free and vegetarian. Every dish was delicious and severs were very attentive and professional. Great spot for a special occasion.

    We heard some mixed reviews about this place and wanted to try it out ourselves since I had family in town. Slight disappointment.

    I had a reservation for 2 at the bar. We were greeted and seated right away. This was my second time coming to Mimi. First time I tried a pre-set menu, but this time we did a la carte as we knew exactly what we wanted. We had the stuffed wings, shrimp toast, scallion sea bass, belt noodles, and stir fried beans. Everything came out in a timely fashion and the flavors were amazing. After asking for the bill, the manager came to us and explained that our bill was paid for by Drake and Partynextdoor as they were giving back to the city! (my guess is it had something to do with their new album release) Overall great experience! We will definitely be back here again.

    Excellent service and food. Have not received service like that in such a long time. Every dish was well seasoned, fresh, and delicious! Highly recommend the Stir Fried Squid and House Char Siu. We loved every dish and the cocktails were divine. Will be returning.

    The service was exemplary. The food was disappointing. The cauliflower was very salty. The fried chicken aroma was enticing but sadly the chicken was on the drier side. Scallion fried rice is yum. Cucumber salad was full of flavor. General Tao chicken was a little too sweet. Table for 2 are set too close to each other to maximize seating space and tables. Sadly this table seating model offers no intimacy for couples

    Food and staff were amazing. Definitely get the pork belly, shrimp cakes, and 4ft noodle.
