Located in the heart of Notting Hill but just outside the hustle and bustle of Portabello Road, Erev offers a bold, contemporary take on Levantine cuisine — rooted in seasonality, creativity, and local ingredients.

Inspired by the culinary philosophy of world-renowned chef Eyal Shani, and brought to life by Head Chef Yakup Gundogdu, the menu blends Middle Eastern influences with playful, produce-led dishes that celebrate the unexpected.

From Tuesday to Sunday, Erev offers a borderless dining experience that channels the unapologetic charm of Eyal Shani’s iconic restaurants like North Abraxas and Port Said. Think golden calamari, the iconic party ribeye steak, and the unforgettable terrifying hammer is back — our version of beef carpaccio.

During the day, Erev serves up laid-back lunches and brunches that are just as full of flavour and personality — from diamond avocado bruschetta and Tunisian potato to schnitzel and indulgent French toast.

    It was awful! Rubbish service, they ran out of food. Not good quality food

    Server was friendly but quite slow so we had been there almost an hour before we got a first round of drinks. Then she either forgot (or couldn’t be bothered?) to offer dessert when she eventually cleared the dinner plates and just brought us the bill before we asked for it. I would have liked to try the dessert but she made us feel like we needed to leave.

    We have been to Lilienblum before which is closed now. The concept is similar but a more narrow menu. We were satisfied with those we tested.

    I highly recommend that restaurant. Everything was perfect. The welcome, the food which is so good and fresh. I love the new formula for the diner. One of my favorite restaurant in Notting hill. They even offered us the desert as they mixed up the appetizer which wasn’t a big deal at all. That was so generous. Merci encore and see you soon

    Delicious hummus and fresh food and decent sized portions. Located in a great spot in Notting Hill one street over from Portobello. Excellent service and good music (reggae vibes for Saturday lunch).
