Our ohana had a vision to share our love for ono food, live music and hospitality with the world. In 2019, this dream became a reality when we opened Moani Island Bistro and Bar on the west side of O’ahu. With the overwhelming support from our customers, Moani’s success has exceeded our expectations. Our family is thriving, our vision is growing, and Moani is expanding. The service was slow, the prices were very high fur the portion size and the steak was over cooked and not good quality. Disappointed overall. We had a party of 6 so gratuity was included automatically regardless of the quality of service.

The food and service was outstanding! Had the pork chops and fried rice. Portions were generous. Excellent value in the heart of a high priced tourist center.

We ordered bacon truffle cheese fries, kawali fried chicken, pele’s prawns and the whole fried fish. The fried chicken and fish were our favorites and would definitely order again.

This place is definitely going down the hill. Came on Sunday night, wasn’t even busy at all. I ordered rib eye steak and didn’t get it until our entire meal was done. I assume they didn’t put the order in but the server came to us two times and kept telling us sorry it will be ready very soon but didn’t come out until one hour later.

The food cooled off quickly due to the ceiling fans. The Korean BBQ Ribs were good, the Moani Special Fired Rice was delicious, but the French Fries lacked seasoning. Service was great as well as the ambience. Had the food not cooled so quickly and the fries properly seasoned, then it would have been a significantly better experience.

It took 45 minutes to get our food. The waitress said that they were “swamped”, but I counted at least 6 empty, clean tables around us (ready customers)… they could not have been “swamped”. Also, having the waitress next to you and wait for payment after telling you verbally the bill (not given a writen bill) was extremely uncomfortable.

Comfortable venue at International Market. Food was excellent. Hostess & wait staff were very accommodating and helpful. There were 6 of us and we ordered a lot of the menu. Everything was well done. Menu was a bit limited, but perfect for a light meal. Prices were reasonable for Waikiki. Thanks!
