    Murphy’s was celebrating their 40th Anniversary in business with 1985 prices on Prime Rib, Shrimp, Chicken, and Sirloin. They even brought out their 1985 menu. Of course, it was a high noise level! The restaurant was packed. The service and food was impeccable as usual. We love Murphy’s and definitely recommend this wonderful place with great food and service in mind.

    We had a great time at Murphy's! They were out of the prime rib, which is what we came for, but the meals we had were really good. Quick service and Slade was awesome! Can't beat 1985 pricing!

    I took my wife here for her birthday dinner. I didn’t realize that we were showing up in the middle of their 40th anniversary celebration week. This is 100% not their fault that the place was an absolute madhouse on a Thursday! I have to rate my experience for that day though. When we finally got seated, we had a fantastic waitress who was able to make our experience very good despite the craziness. They had a limited menu with some really good food and INCREDIBLE pricing! (I quickly saw why the place was packed when I saw their anniversary prices!) I look forward to trying this place again under normal circumstances.

    Super enjoyed the 1985 pricing this week and food was very good. Our server Sydney (like Australia) was exceptional and made the night terrific. Looking forward to going back and requesting Sydney’s section!

    The prime rib was very good; the mashed potatoes, though homemade, were very dry & flavorless. Wanted the fried zucchini & mushroom appetizer, however at 5:40 p.m., they were out of it.

    Kelly was our waitress and was very polite, courteous and humorous. Our group was very happy with the food and service we received. Great promo dropping prices down back to 1985; best deal in town!

    Made reservations on the 24th for 730 pm. On the 26th.Called to verify on the 26th and said they had us down . Show up at 705, they were busy as it was their 40 yr anniversary with special pricing and hence the reservations. We're told we didn't have reservations but they would put us in. Did not get a call or notification that a table was ready until we asked again at 830, mind you ,there were empty tables. Were told they were out of Prime rib, which we had came for. Server was nice and attentive, food was slow in coming out but good. They were getting ready to close a bit after 9 when we finished and most of the restruant was cleared out by the time we left. Will not be going back.

    We made reservations weeks in advance for their 40th anniversary. They were busy but seated us shortly our reservation time. Our server was great and he let us know immediately that they were out of prime rib already. Which, unfortunately, was what we had gone there for. We were also under the assumption that they would be serving their regular menu but they were not, which left our options minimal. Our steaks were over cooked (medium when we ordered rare) but seeing as the kitchen was way behind we opted to just eat them rather than wait more. We appreciated the candidness of our server regarding the prime rib and the kitchen delay, although it would have been nice had the hostess let us know because we probably would have gone elsewhere.
