Started off with no wine glasses. Then the appetizer we ordered never showed up after we waited 30 minutes for a plate of hummus. The waiter told me I didn’t order it. My entree, rack of lamb, was inedible!! I could not even get one bite of meat off of the bone! I have never experienced a meal I couldn’t actually eat. The potatoes and broccoli were tasty. My husband enjoyed his beef kabobs. It took us 45 minutes to get our meal. The waiter came to fill our water for the first time when we were paying the check. The waiter was nice but not attentive. I didn’t have to pay of the lamb and was given a free dessert for lack of the appetizer which never happened. I would not recommend this restaurant until they get their act together.

We were so excited to try the restaurant out on New Year’s Eve. Our reservations were at 8:30 & we showed up right on time. After waiting for someone to come to the hostess stand a staff member asked our name & reservation info. He then walked away & was about to take us to our table when he said I have to be honest you might not want to stay. We had an accident in our kitchen much earlier involving hot water & our chef had to leave. I can’t promise you’ll ever get your food or if it will be good. We have already had people walk out throughout the night. There was no notification about this & no update on their social media. We tried other restaurants & even grocery stores but other than Wawa nothing was still opened to grab any dinner. The staff did not even apologize or try to offer us to go or a gift card to come back. This situation could have been handled so many ways but we are very disappointed with how they chose to handle it.

Early New Year Eve dinner. Had a wait time for dinner due to short cook staff but our waitress kept checking on us and explaining why things were backed up. Really had to feel for these people for something that was not their fault. When appetizer and dinner did arrive, it was well worth the wait. Excellent food! Nice table! Nice wait staff! Can't wait to go back!

Had a great time! Morgan was a wonderful, attentive server, and was so sweet to our one year old. Looking forward to returning again soon, the food was delicious. Managed a busy NYE dinner service very well!

the food was delicious and the service was great! highly recommend the gyro and the appetizer, myrtos platters. the hummus, tzatziki, grape leaves and pita were so good! can’t wait to go back.

Our meal was fantastic. The owner is a sweetheart! This place is the perfect addition Downingtown needed! We will definitely be back!!

Our second time to eat here and it was just about perfect. Food was excellent as was the service. We really enjoyed it.

This place only opened about two months ago so we've been eager to give it a try. Strangely the menu seems to be that of an Italian restaurant, full of pasta dishes, but with Greek names, for example, Zola Bucatini is Chicken Parmigiana...but hey, when is Greece... My wife ordered Lobster Bisque, but it didn't look, or taste, like any Lobster Bisque either of us had ever seen, or tasted. In fact she sent it back. The alternative was two MASSIVE Spanakopita, like large fruit turnover sized, very doughy but tasty enough. I'm not sure how many people could eat two of those and have room for an entree. I had the Avgolamono (Greek lemon chicken & rice soup) but it was more like wet mashed potatoes, but very tasty and lemony, with very little chicken found. For my entree I ordered the Gemista (stuffed tomatoes) with lemon roasted potatoes and they were not good. The filling (beef and rice) was very soft (mushy) with occasional undercooked rice adding the only texture to offset everything else that was very very soft and THEY ARE MASSIVE, two of them larger than softballs! Additionally there was a background bitterness I could not identify the source of. The lemon potatoes were hit and miss with a couple of tasty wedges and many that were not very tasty. My wife ordered the Salmon with lemon potatoes and broccolini. She gave the salmon a 4 but also didn't care much for the potatoes, and neither of us liked the broccolini, my favorite green veggie. That all said, the waitstaff is trying very hard to make a pleasant experience for diners. Unfortunately the acoustics inside are poor and our table next to a window was very drafty and cold. Sadly Myrtos feels half baked. Maybe we'll give it a second try...

We had the cucumber, tomato, and onion and green pepper salad with lemon vinaigrette (delicious salad!) We shared the spanokopita appetizer which was crispy on the outside and firm but tender on the inside (delicious!) We also each had the short ribs over mashed taters with asparagus, string beans, and zucchini. The short ribs were fork-tender and tasty but very salty. No dessert, we were stuffed.
