   As a Digital Content Creator and Creative, I am respectfully an advocate, encouraging and championing local businesses with immense warmth. Namaaste Highgate certainty did not disappoint with their notoriety and award winning menu and take on flavours that export you to a place of great nostalgic sentiment. I highly recommend to experience what they have to offer with great excellence, not only for the food but also fir the service provided as a team who all pride themselves on collectively investing in our dinning experience.    This is a lovely restaurant with a neighbourhood vibe, very friendly and attentive staff. I have been here a few times either with my partner or with friends as I find it one of the better restaurants close to us in the Highgate area. The food is tasty and the ambience enjoyable, with tasteful interior decoration all centred around a lengthy bar that leads to a quiet dining area - a perfect place to have friendly or intimate conversations over a nice meal. I admit that some of the main savoury dishes are a bit on the sweeter side, for example the butter chicken or the seafood moilee. The tandoor dishes are much more forward on the complex Indian spicing element and go great with naan or rice. I also really enjoy the cilantro-based sauces that they use. To their credit, and perhaps to end on a sweet note, I love the gulab jamun and the chai tea - both heavenly. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have more of a sweet tooth and crave tasty Indian food.

   This restaurant went above and beyond in their service. They explained the menu well, gave excellent recommendations and super service. The food was delicious. Mr T and who we named Star were outstanding! A future favourite for certain 🌟

   as usual, lovely food and an enjoyable meal in a great atmosphere. The service was a bit slow this time, however usually very good. Highly recommended place and one of our favourites for an Indian meal out.

   The food was ok, samosas were especially good. The vegan curry was questionable, no one including the manager were able to explain what root vegetable chicken actually was. We are still non the wiser. We were advised it was a root vegetable dish initially, not a vegetable in sight, however a fake meat substitute seemed to be imbedded in sauce at which point it was revealed a root vegetable chicken was the ingredient. Baffled. Unfortunately the staff serving us on Saturday were all new and clearly had no training regarding the menu, ingredients or availability, I’ll leave that there. However despite the above, staff were Courteous.

    We waited 45 minutes after ordering. Two dishes arrived cold. We didn’t even get an apology.
