DeeDee Niyomkul, award-winning Chef/Owner of Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft continues her parents' (Charlie & Nan Niyomkul) legacy with Nan Thai Buckhead, creating innovative traditional Thai cuisine using modern methods that convey the essence and soul of Thailand in every bite.
Chef DeeDee's menu is meticulously crafted to provide a creative interplay of Thai tastes and textures, leading the diner on a gourmet tour of traditional Thai foods inspired by her upbringing.
Nan Thai Buckhead is DeeDee's homage to her parents, and will feature many favorites such as Kai Siam, Lamb Hung Lay, and Crispy Red Snapper - as well as her own signature dishes like Octopus Lemongrass Salad & Wagyu Beef Cheeks in Panang Curry.

    On Tuesday, April 29, Nan Thai Buckhead invites guests to an elegant evening of food and wine with a special four-course dinner curated by chef/owner DeeDee Niyomkul. The evening features premium wine pairings from the acclaimed Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, including 2023 Napa Valley Viognier, 2021 The Investor Napa Valley red wine, 2020 Oakville cabernet sauvignon and 2020 Napa Valley petite sirah. A limited pour of the 2020 The Leap cabernet sauvignon will also be offered as a special treat upon arrival. This exclusive dinner experience will showcase the bold flavors and refined techniques of chef Niyomkul’s contemporary Thai cuisine, paired perfectly with selections from one of Napa Valley’s most iconic wineries. Established in 1970, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars gained international recognition when its 1973 cabernet sauvignon won the historic 1976 “Judgment of Paris” tasting. Known for its signature style—merging classic structure with rich, ripe fruit—the winery continues to craft wines of elegance, balance and longevity.

    Cuando hice la reserva me preguntaron si había alguna celebración en especial, puse que era un cumpleaños y no nos ofrecieron absolutamente un cake de cumpleaños no nada. La comida es muy buena y las bebidas excelentes.

    Great experience. Although it seemed like there was only one waitress to work all the tables there, she did a great job. Our food, despite taking a while to come out, was amazing and worth the wait---and the portion sizes were enough to share two dishes among 4 people (complimentary rice was nice too!). Overall, would reccomend for anyone looking for a nice night out.

    Our anniversary dinner at Nan Thai Buckhead was a wonderful experience. From the moment we entered, a warm greeting met us which continued as we were shown to a quiet booth. There we met with Zion, our server, who was absolutely amazing throughout the whole meal which, in itself, was a treat from start to finish. A complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary completed the exceptional journey.

    My fiancé and I had an amazing experience. We had our anniversary dinner here and they made it really special. They worked with me with all of my surprises and it made the experience phenomenal. Would recommend 10/10.
