My wife and I have been to Nancetta’s a number of times and always happy with the experience. This latest visit was not the case. The service was EXTREMELY slow. Our server just wasn’t on top of his game. Our reservation was for 5:45pm and we did not get our food until 7:50pm! My wife had the salmon which was overcooked/dry and our friend has the eggplant and it too was dry. Think both dishes were sat under a heat lap for awhile. My dish was the sea bass and it was excellent. I’m putting the blame of this situation on our server whose service extremely poor for this establishment. We will return sometime but not for awhile since there are other options.

We went for dinner for the first time on a Saturday night. The staff is very friendly. They make everything in house, which means the food isn’t already prepared in the kitchen so you will wait longer than most restaurants for your food but it’s worth the wait. We had drinks and appetizers while waiting for our entrees. Everything was wonderful. Again the staff/owner all were very friendly, they make you feel very welcome. . Make sure you make reservations it isn’t a very big places and all the tables were booked when we went.

Food is always very good. They had some shortages with their personal which caused some delays, but we were not in any rush so we still had a fine time.

Excellent little place, a hidden gem. Servers and owners were caring and considerate. All home made food Give this place a try!!

The wine was good. We dined early and the staff was super nice and accommodating to our child, who is admittedly well-behaved. The owners are very present and friendly. Our server was gracious. Regarding food, the beet and Caesar salads were fairly average and the pastas were not much to write home about. I usually have leftovers (BMI is 20, for the record) and even I finished my entire entree here. Small portions.

LotsofLiles We are sorry that you did not enjoy your entrees. Our regular customers love our beet and caesar salads, some people do not like the fact that we make the caesar mixed in the bowl, they prefer a bottled caesar dressing. Not sure what pasta dish you had, but since we make our own pasta with flour from Italy, the flour is much finer than your regular pasta flour and much lighter. Our customers tell us that we give too much pasta but they were able to eat it all because of the texture and lightness of the pasta. We hope you come back again to give us another try in the future. We have had good dinners at Nancetta’s previously, so we were disappointed when we were served burned veal, mushy pasta (homemade, but mushy), and service that was disorganized and inattentive. The place does not have its act together.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your dinners at Nancetta's, but unfortunately you never informed us of a problem when you were here, therefore allowing us the opportunity to correct it? We did contact you and ask you to return for dinner but to no avail? As far as the server being disorganized, he was simply trying to locate a bottle of wine and I intervened.

Our reservation was for 6:30 for 7 adults and 2 kids. Thank God we ordered the kids meals first because it took over an hour and a half for the adults to get their meals!! This is not the first time we’ve waited forever for meals!! My father ordered soup and his took the longest to come out!! It was the last thing served. The shrimp I added to mine was gummy yet slimy and was really gross. We will not be going back.

It is unfortunate you expect food to be of highest quality and delivered in 20 minutes. It's impossible. The shrimp I cooked personally and is red Argentinian. It is seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and is not slimy or gummy. Your father ordered soup as an entree and was served last. He commented how good the soup was when he left. Your rating of food at 4 and service at 4 cause us to be confused? Ambience and value at 2 were not addressed in your review.
