We went for Christmas dinner with 3 adults, 1 teen and 1 child. Was not crowded but service was slow and food took a long time to come out. And when it did, everything but the kids meal came out. He was quite upset and we had to ask the manager to find out what happened to it. None of us would eat until he got his meal and by the time it came out, all our food was cold. Two of us had ordered the prime rib special, but the meat we received was ribeye. It was tasty, but not what we ordered. When we pointed that out to the manager (because we couldn’t find our waiter), we were told they ran out of prime rib at 5:30 and we should have been told that. But we placed our order at 5:15 so not sure what really happened. Overall the food was above average but not worth spending over 2 hours to complete the meal with a waiter that rarely checked up on us.

The food is always great - $20 for a martini seems a bit high, but overall, we really enjoy coming here.

Hotel restaurant. Kids running wild. Massive portions to the point of being unappetizing. Fries cold and no one in the restaurant at lunch, so why? Service perfunctory. Don’t be fooled. This is nothing like the other fabulous NS restaurants.

Food is always top notch. First time we’ve been with our kids and was pleasantly surprised they have some kids items. Was able to enjoy 70 degree weather in December on the patio!

Food as usual was amazing. We ordered meatballs, wings, fried avocado and Brussels for our group. I thought meatballs were fantastic! ( so we ordered another for our group of 6) Service was bad from the start. Our girl acted as we were a nuisance, disappeared for long stretches, finally came back with our drinks after a great while. Not friendly and didn’t explain any menu items or appear particularly interested in waiting on us. Even our youngest, 14, mentioned how bad the service was and he is usually in hid phone. Not a big crowd in there. Service is typically excellent. We ordered our entrees and still felt somewhat neglected. We never got asked for drink refills or desserts. The only thing that came quickly was the bill, with the automatic 20% for a party of 6 ( about $60 for her) This is usually our favorite place to go on the weekends. Such a big disappointment. Food was terrific though. Shame the experience was so frustrating.

Our table was on the patio and it is was cold outside. They have patio heaters but not enough of them to make everyone comfortable so we moved into the bar and had a great time.

We had such a good dinner here but what made the dinner great was the service! Crystal was fantastic! Witty and warm. We truly enjoyed the evening.

Love this restaurant mostly because the staff are so great to guests. Menu is narrow, but there are favorites to choose from, like Steak Frittes and cheeseburgers.
