It was our first visit to the nest. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and well served There was a large table of young ladies next to us so I think the noise levels weee probably higher than usual but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the evening

Lovely setting, small intimate restaurant with nice atmosphere. Really lovely food and good value. Interesting menu.

A well presented meal, produced in a relaxed, downbeat atmosphere. Very pleasant staff. A small but interesting menu of food with an unusual twist, very tasty and plenty of it. Would return.

This is the third time I have been to Nest and I absolutely love what you guys are doing. Was there on a date, we could comfortably talk without thinking anyone would overhear our conversation, perfect ambience, it's like you have walked into a friend's place. We had lots of small plates (tapas style) and the food is just fabulous, top flavours. Happily worth every penny as the whole experience is lush.....wishing the team at Nest continued success, it's great to have such a restaurant in shaftsbury x

No vegan/plant based options on the menu, which was a little disappointing. Maybe this is something that could be considered adding to the menu. As we eat plant based for health reasons not ethical we had the vegetarian options. The food was outstanding.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I must say that it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, but unfortunately they didn't have any of the spirits I requested from the drinks menu or the wine we liked the look of. At the end of the meal we asked for decaf coffee and a brandy but they didn't have this either. The drinks are not a deal breaker though as it was the food that stole the show. Amazing but portions a little on the large side for a small appetite. Will definitely return and hope they manage to sort out the drinks menu! The staff were very personable and apologetic.

Some of the food we had was really nice, but there was a few poor dishes. Service was absolutely appalling and if you are going to charge top prices then the food and service has to reflect the price. Need to concentrate on paying customers in the restaurant not on the takeaways, waited an hour for starters. Would not recommend this restaurant.

We were visiting Shaftesbury and recommended that we dine here. Well it was amazing. The food was delicious. We had the Goan fish curry and it was creamy and subtle. Friends had the lamb which was very well spiced and balanced.
