Welcome to No15 Restaurant & Bar Chobham (formerly The Red Lion Chobham) an independent restaurant, bar and garden. It’s our desire to source and cook great ingredients, forever changing with trends and development in our kitchen including meat aging, curing and smoking in our own butchery, pickling, preserving and baking, we are sure you will notice the difference and love in our food! To stand out from the crowd is our vision, by creating a genuine and warm place with varied world sourced wines, fabulous creative cocktails and a wonderful wide selection of gins as well as other premium spirits and mixers combined. We are totally dedicated to sourcing the best quality produce and bringing together a team of equally passionate individuals who are dedicated to deliver one of the best places to dine and drink in the village and surrounding neighbourhood. Overall ambience was very nice. Friendly staff but a little inattentive at the start, although to be fair, the restaurant was quite busy. Food was lovely and little extra treats were really tasty. However, we both ordered lobster for our main course which was an additional £12 each. Whilst nicely cooked, it was very small (really just a couple of mouthfuls) and didn’t include the claw. Overall, we enjoyed our evening but feel that the lobster course was poor value.

Thank you Kirsteen, we are pleased you enjoyed your evening with us overall however are disappointed to see your feedback on the lobster so our sincere apologies for this which we certainly take on board and will review with our Chef directly o ensure this improves for the future. We do hope to see you again so you can be sure that our service attention is higher and back to our usual standard at all times despite however busy we may be.

Such a disappointment - some parts of the evening were so bad they were funny. It was the Saturday night after Valentine’s Day so they were very busy but it took 40 minutes for anyone to take our order, an hour for any bread to arrive (and then it was stale when it did) and an hour and 20 minutes before our starters arrived. My starter was supposed to be beetroot tarte tatin with goat’s cheese ice cream but the “ice cream” had clearly been sitting out for 20 minutes as was now a puddle and the tarte tatin was just a messy blob (see photo). Not a good start… They then seemed to forget about my husband’s wine (45 mins until we managed to find a waiter to remind) and when the main courses arrived they were fine but nothing special. We decided not to wait for dessert as by now it was 10pm and we wanted to get home before midnight! Looking around the restaurant there were a lot of other unhappy faces so I don’t think our experience was unique. The hostess gave us a 20% discount for the wait, which was appreciated, but in hindsight not really enough - this mediocre experience still cost us over £100. We’re local so we will give it one more chance in the summer when we can sit outside (the garden looks nice) but we definitely won’t be recommending it to friends at this point…

Fantastic Valentines lunch at No 15 today. Good was brilliant, great choice and superbly presented. Service from Joe and Sandy was excellent. All round a great ‘fine dining’ restaurant that I’d heartily recommend. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank You.

The experience mirrored what had been advertised. The balance was excellent and the taste delicious. Our comments at table were welcomed and passed on. In an exceptional menu the only downer was the tiramisu which was more of a cake, rather dry and not really a complement to what had gone before .

Very clean nicely decorated ,very polite attentive staff ,excellent food with home made bread and canapés before starters,menu limited for vegetarians ,good choice of fish and meats,portion size good .Good wine and cocktail menu service was just right some might say a little slow. I have been visiting this restaurant for 5 years and it has never failed to please.

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention some concerns that have been observed during recent visits to your establishment. It has been noted that there is a need for improvement and attention to detail among the staff members. Several tables have experienced prolonged waiting times, ranging between 30-40 minutes, just to receive their drinks. Furthermore, there appears to be a lack of consistency in conducting allergy checks at the tables, putting customers at potential risk. Additionally, there have been instances where explanations of the daily specials had to be repeated two or three times to certain tables due to miscommunication among the staff. It is evident that there may be a gap in staff training, as not all members are proficient in explaining dishes to patrons. I must commend one particular staff member, a lady who efficiently conveyed information about the menu items while serving food at the tables. Moreover, during these visits, it was disappointing to note that there was limited engagement from the owner of the establishment regarding guest feedback. It was communicated that the owner was too busy to address customer concerns due to the increased business demands. It is essential for the management to prioritize guest feedback and ensure that customers feel valued and heard. I believe that addressing these concerns promptly and implementing appropriate training and communication strategies for the staff will significantly enhance the overall dining experience at your restaurant. Customers' satisfaction and loyalty are vital for the success of any business, and I trust that these matters will be taken seriously and rectified accordingly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing positive changes and improvements in the service quality.
