Nestled in the heart of East Nashville, Noko is an Asian-inspired, wood-fired restaurant inspired by wanderlust and simplicity of the region. Here, Executive Chef Dung “Junior” Vo aims to perfect the balance of new and old techniques in wood fire cooking, putting his Asian-influenced spins on familiar proteins and indigenous vegetables through smoking, searing, and roasting.

We loved dinner and will absolutely be back! There were just a few dishes that fell short of their reputation. The broccolini wasn’t quite cooked enough, the beef dumplings and the duck bao buns lacked flavor.

Amazing dining experience, from service to taste. The simplistic setting allowed the servers and food to shine. Everything we ordered was unique and delicious.

A must for your Nashville reservations! Atmosphere and service was amazing then the food takes it to the next level! Come with friends like that to share. The blue fin crudo, tartare, burnt ends lettuce wraps, Ube gelato and the Thai-NY drink, were all stars! Can’t wait to come back

We had a wonderful time. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed a number of small plates and appetizers. Service was attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the food was not worth the hype. You can get any of the different foods on the menu at other places at the same level if not better. Sadly, disappointed.

To begin, the service was exceptional from the moment we arrived until we left. A free appetizer of dumplings was a great treat. We shared a variety of small plates. The Burrata cheese plate and the bao buns were spectacular. The tuna crispy fried rice was great and even the Brussel sprouts were delicious. The prices were very reasonable. Overall it was well worth the short uber drive to this Nashville East establishment. I would definitely come back to Noko.

We were super excited to get a reservation at Noko because our friends (who are serious foodies and excellent home chefs) recommended Noko as their favorite restaurant. Noko did not disappoint! The welcome as we entered was warm and generous, they took my coat and hung it for me. : ) we had a small table in the dining room that was reserved, but opted to sit at the bar! It was fantastic! Our bartender Jena was super knowledgeable and so kind. She had many diners at the bar and took great care to engage with everyone. We started with sake and beer, a very interesting sake selection, and had spicy tuna crispy rice & hamachi crudo to start both so flavorful and delicious, then moved on with burnt ends with lettuce both of us LOVED this dish and really enjoyed the delicate crab fried rice! We had the Caesar salad which we shared but could have had my own it was so tasty! Our meal was so delightful we didn’t save room for dessert! We might try to go back tonight for dessert to try the coconut cake with wood fired pineapple or the brookie with Chocolate brownie, black sesame cookie, miso caramel, vanilla gelato! Our only missed opportunity due to dining so late is we missed the dumplings!! No doubt they are as fantastic as all the dishes we tried! Make a reservation ASAP, the food, drinks and staff are⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Might I add that we went to a distillery recommended by Jenna and ran into another couple that was seated at the bar too!! Great recommendation, thank you Jenna! You nailed it!
