    Amazing experience - my partner and I have wanted to try here for a while and so stoked we did. Food was amazing in a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly. Highly recommend.

    Fabulous! Food was amazing and the service was great! They did everything to accommodate one of our coeliac guests and couldn’t have been more helpful! Loved the wagu and everything else, great cocktails too. We will be back for sure!

    We think Nonbei is the best Japanese BBQ in Brisbane. The high quality of the produce and bountiful range on the menu is impressive. The staff take great pride in their product and service, both were exceptional. The staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time for our anniversary. We recommend the Delux menu; our favourite items being... EVERYTHING! Especially the wagyu rump cap, Salmon sashimi, cabbage salad, wagyu Sukiyaki, premium ox tongue, waguy inside skirt, chicken karaage and wagyu tataki with truffle oil. Even the kimchee was delicious! You can purchase sake tasting sets and all you can drink softdrink package too if you wish. The venue is warm, cozy and inviting, full of character and the seats were comfortable- we were placed in a booth. We will be back again and can't wait to return! Fantastic value for money and incredible service! We live in the South West and travelled approx 1 hour to visit - recommend parking in China Town (make sure you pre-book online with the carpark for a better deal). Nonbei is a 2 min walk from the carpark at China Town. Thank you Nonbei for an incredible evening, super happy and impressed with our experience.

    Great selection of meats. Very fast service. Friendly and helpful staff Left VERY full and happy. Definitely be back

    Tried Nonbei for the first time tonight for my belated birthday dinner. Got the $95 Deluxe Buffet and was not disappointed. Now that I’ve done it once and have a better idea of portion sizes and timing, I’ll get better at making the most of our 1.5hr sitting. The sides were good, the meat was excellent. Will do again. Would recommend.

    The food, the service, the whole experience was just enjoyable !!!!! we were going to do the banquet but decided to go A-la-carte because we were not quite convinced we would get our $$ worth ... we were right in the end as with Drinks we came in $10 under what we would have spent for the Banquet alone and we felt very satisfied and full when we left ...

    We arrive and were seated straight away. We chose the $95 PP buffet 2 adults and 1 child for our sons 11th Birthday. I had made a mistake once service commenced with not sending our order to the kitchen, this reduced our overall time until a server noticed my mistake. He assist and added more time to our Buffet. The service, food and atmosphere were exceptional and highly recommend this restaurant. Will be attending again in the future.

    We always enjoy yakiniku at Nonbei with our family. Great atmosphere, authentic Japanese-style yakiniku, and plenty of salad options. The cold somen last night was a real hit!
