claudia in the bar is the best, she was so lovely and welcoming. the waitress in north and common was so accommodating and helped with dietary needs

Dinner was excellent however service extremely poor. Waiting staff not attentive at all and appeared as though we were being avoided. Tables were too close together and it was difficult for us to hear our own conversation. Very limited breakfast menu and my poached eggs came out hard boiled. Would not recommend having breakfast there.

We apologize for your experience. Saturday evenings can be busy, but we always strive to provide the best service. After reviewing, orders and delivery times were in line with our standards. We're sorry if the service felt inattentive and will take your feedback into account. Unfortunately, noise levels are beyond our control, while for the table, we did not receive any preferences but would be happy to offer a more suitable one in the future. The servers were attentive. And made some good recommendations when we asked. The pork was a fantastic recommendation, easily the best I've eaten in a restaurant. Nice night out

After booking a table for my wife’s birthday for 13 February one week before hand then arriving 15 minutes early we were advised that our QUIET table was taken by some Valentine couple!! WTF is this BS!!

Food was amazing. We had the 4 course tasting menu (chefs selection). Good amount of food for $ spent. All dishes were incredible. Favourite was oysters and the lamb shoulder. Service was not as high level as we expected it to be. Table not cleaned down throughout service. There were a few times when food was bought out however plates were not bought out with it, waiter/waitress needed prompting to bring plates (meals were served as sharing plates), we sat for 5 minutes before plates were bought out to us. Drinks were slow, coffee at end of meal was not bought out until very last second. Overall we loved the food and hope service will improve next time we visit

Our group thought that the venue was very noisy so made it difficult to have a conversation and the food was over seasoned(salty).

We had a lovely meal, food was excellent and the service was great. It was our first time here and we’ll definitely be back. Will definitely pass on recommending North & Common to our family and friends.

With some allergy impacts we started well with good engagement with the staff after pre advising of the items that could not be eaten. There was a clear restricted menu available when we started and once we selected it took a very long time to come out, others after us ordered were into the second course before our dishes were served, others after us tables also offered completely sparkling wine and beard, nothing for us , the king fish was smaller than a starter and very poor value, steak was ok but not seasoned, no sides were provided or offered. Seems too ‘Chefie ’ for a regular punter.

We strive to accommodate dietary needs, but due to shared kitchen spaces, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination. We apologize if this caused concern. Nice welcome on arrival, seated and offered water, followed by complimentary sparkling wine. Set menu food was sensational in both taste and presentation. Would recommend.
