First time visit and can’t say enough good things about this “hidden gem” in North Raleigh! Menu has something for everyone and we started off with fried artichoke hearts! Just wow! Our entrees were braised short ribs and the beef wellington! Over the top amazing! And the sides were not just an afterthought either. Nice wine offerings, great service, relaxed atmosphere….. look forward to many more visits!

Three of us went for dinner--first time at Northside Bistro, but not the last. Great cocktails and very good food which included orders for duck confit, salmon and beef short ribs. Everyone was very pleased. The restaurant is spacious and open, very good wait staff.

Disappointed with Harvest salad and that the usual salmon dish wasn’t available. However, the onion soup broth was delicious even though the amount of cheese could have been cut in half. The tuna was very good as was the meatballs. We liked our drinks. Prices though appeared to be inflated for the holidays

Went with girlfriends to celebrate birthday. Excellent burgers and million dollar pie. It was quiet because it was the day after Christmas. We sat there for three hours and were not rushed out. Service was outstanding.

When we visited, the restaurant was bustling with activity—a clear sign of its popularity. Despite being busy, the food arrived promptly without any delays, which was impressive. It’s evident that the kitchen and staff work seamlessly to maintain a high standard of service even during peak hours. The food itself was exceptional. From the warm, freshly baked bread to the decadent desserts, everything was a delight. The Caesar salad was a surprising highlight, with a dressing that stood out as one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The Beef Wellington was another standout, perfectly prepared with tender, flavorful meat encased in a flaky, golden crust. Every dish was well-crafted and full of flavor, making it clear that quality and attention to detail are top priorities. The service was another high point. Friendly and attentive without being overbearing, the staff ensured we had everything we needed and checked in at just the right moments. Wonderful dinner. Everything was perfectly done. Wait staff, food timing, never rushed, and awesome atmosphere. The bar is the place to be. Couldn’t snag 2 at the bar so we were at a table, which was still great. Looking forward to a lot of dinners here.

Booth of 4 for Christmas season dinner. Been here quite a few times before; we had 3 appetizers and 4 different entrees, all quite good. Gnocchi and Beef Wellington are particularly good hear. Waiter and hostesses were great.
