Chef Rojas creates curated and erudite experiences, based upon his travels and his decades of experience in great venues across the world.
Steven opened Nutwood in 2017, with the goal of providing the Winter Haven community with the quality of cuisine and service he personally enjoys; delicious food prepared in classic ways, warm and hospitable service, and a family atmosphere to enjoy it all in.

A truly hidden gem in WH; we never miss it when we are in town. We got a few things we’ve had before (the raviolo, and the flat iron steak) which were fantastic as always. This time we also got the Corvina daily dish special and the NY Strip special as well as the escargot and the beet carpaccio. Every single thing was prepared perfectly, including the steak temperatures. I also love the interesting wines—this time I did the Falanghina and the Super Tuscan but everyone at the table enjoyed their choices. Finally, we closed with dessert wines and the pot de creme and the bread pudding. I may never eat again, but it will have been worth it. Truly the highlight of this trip every year!

Always a reliable excellent experience. Not too stuffy so it can be enjoyed frequently. You can dress it up for a special event, but it’s not required. Can just be a random Thursday. We love Beth. She is a fixture there!

Drove an hour for a birthday brunch and the food was not satisfying at all. Mistakes happen but on top of the food not being good, there was a piece of metal that fell into our food from the cook’s pan. Drove an hour home in traffic, still hungry and now angry because I spent $100 on mediocre pancakes, chicken & waffle and 2 cappuccinos just to have to go and eat at the brunch spot 3 minutes from my house on my birthday and while pregnant. Needless to say we will not be back.

We’ve been to Nutwood three times and have always been impressed. The food is always amazing. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I visited Nutwood for the first time uppn reading positive reviews written by others. The restaurant did not disappoint. The staff and service were top notched. The food was well prepared and delicious. We will definitely go again.

The food was delicious and our server, Beth, was wonderful as always. I’d highly recommend nutwood for a special occasion as it’s sure not to disappoint!!
