Went for Valentine’s day and they sat us at the counter when there were tables open. When we went to go ask the hostess for a different seat, they gave us a hard time. When expressing to our waiter, he gave no empathy and complained about how he has been serving couples back to back from 5-10. Then we ordered drinks and they took 20 minutes to get there and when we tried to leave before getting any drinks they flagged us down to pay. So we paid and awkwardly had to stand at the counter until the manager came over to talk to us. She tried telling us we booked the counter, and they now had a table after being there for 45 minutes. She offered a free appetizer but we refused to stay as it soured our Valentine’s Day. She then proceeded to offer us a gift card and gave us a gift card for less than the drinks we just bought and said “first round on us.” The food was great and did not get this experience the first time I went. Very disappointed 👎

This was our first sushi experience in Raleigh since we recently relocated and O-Ku made it a great one! The sushi was fresh and delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. The service was top notch, thanks to our fabulous waiter, Austin, who was amazing! If you're a sushi lover or just in the mood for something special, Sushi O-Ku is highly recommended!

Everything was perfect!! Zach was our waiter and he was awesome but honestly the entire crew was awesome! It was my daughter’s bday and they went above and beyond to make her feel special!! We will definitely be back!!

Our experience at O-ku was phenomenal. Austin was absolutely amazing, she walked us fully through the menu and helped to guide us to a perfect early Valentine’s dinner. Some of the best nigiri and sashimi I have found in the Triangle. The A-5 Wagyu Nigiri is a must have!!! Highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic date night.

Everything loved everything we tried. The waitress also made a great recommendation on the dessert. We will definitely be back.
