Skyline Lodge features Indigo Road Hospitality Group's Oak Steakhouse, a contemporary steakhouse restaurant. Oak's menu includes steakhouse classics with a modern flair, utilizing Certified Angus Beef and local ingredients. The steakhouse, designed by Skyline's interior design team, Mey & Co, seats up to 80 guests in an intimate and inviting dining room lined with luxurious leather banquettes, a custom floor-to-ceiling wine display, and three original working native granite stone fireplaces. Oak Steakhouse Highlands is sure to become a go-to for both Skyline Lodge guests and locals.

Our “Under the Stars, On the Rocks” guest chef series is one of the top culinary events of Western North Carolina. Evenings will feature a four-course dinner in collaboration with some of the best known chefs. Events take place in our picturesque outdoor pavilion overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains. This was our first visit to Oak Steakhouse. It will not be our last. We will visit again when visiting Highlands. The filet was delicious and prepared perfectly to the way we had requested. The portions were very generous. Our server, Gioni B was very attentive, courteous and helpful with questions we had. The only drawback we had was the noise level at the beginning of our meal was louder than we prefer. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was full. Do not let that keep you from going and enjoying the food and service. Just making you aware that it could be a bit louder. By the end of our meal the noise level had decreased and was at a better level for us. Overall it was an excellent meal and experience!

I cannot say enough about Oak Steakhouse- service was impeccable, top tier. The food was divine and the espresso cheesecake brûlée is simply to die for.

Amazing ribeye, and bread appetizer is delicious! Get there early and sit outside to enjoy the vjew or sit inside by the fireplace!

Our food was absolutely wonderful but I would share our service by Gioni was absolutely excellent! I also really enjoyed our bartender Stephanie and our drinks were perfect and delicious!
