    As a South African family, we love eating at Ocean Basket. Service is always good and the food outstanding!

    Julian and his team looked after us and made my son feel really special on his birthday. The food was fabulous as usual which brought back wonderful memories of sunny South Africa. The only bad thing I could mention was that we all ate too much. Our friends that drove down from Birmingham said it was worth the trip. Thanks Kingston OB. We will be back.

    Our experience at Ocean Basket was outstanding. Julian’s service was brilliant. He recommended a delightful wine we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was absolutely flavorsome. A special mention to Julian for his incredible act of kindness. We accidentally left our baby’s bottle behind, and as we strolled along the river afterward, we heard someone calling out to us. It was Julian, running to return the bottle! We were so touched by his thoughtfulness and effort.

    Great staff.. warm, friendly and fun This was our Anniversary and as my wife is a Cape Towner I can’t tell you how nice it was for her to be greeted by Julian (also is), who was helpful in moving the booking for me originally and it kept the link between the original restaurant in Waterfront alive (which is amazing by the way by the ocean) Thanks guys Great dinner (platter) and at £75 Inc a cocktail, on par for decent value these days
