Opening December 21, 2024, Ocean Prime is a nationally acclaimed, dynamic seafood & steakhouse from the award-winning Cameron Mitchell Restaurants located in the The Quay Sarasota. Ocean Prime delivers an elevated experience with exceptional ambiance, a chef-curated menu, signature handcrafted cocktails, Wine Spectator honored wine list and genuine hospitality. Reservations are recommended. Ocean Prime strives to provide an elegant, fine dining atmosphere. Our associates’ priority is to ensure your experience is memorable. We ask that our guests choose attire that is both polished and suited to our restaurant.     Loved our first experience dining at Ocean Prime. Our server, Nick was excellent. We were impressed with their signature cocktail, Berries and Bubbles! Loved everything about this restaurant and will be back very soon!

    First time dining here on opening night. Outstanding location, building. Very nice design/interior, on both of two levels. Staff was very attentive. Food was very good and priced as such, á la carte. Presentation of the Salmon was impeccable. Steaks very simply presented on a plate and side dishes in an ample size for 2-3 to share. Pros: See above and, Restrooms were lovely on the upper level, have not seen the 1st level assuming the same. In each single stalled and visually depicted as either/all were; separate lovely sinks, a lovely Ocean Prime candle lit, paper towels, mouthwash with small cups (big plus there, we love it!), a dental pic/brush and a small container of a feminine product. Dessert: 10 Layer Carrot Cake (with pineapple glaze) is to die for. 🏆 Cons: Very few, but worth mentioning. No kleenex tissues in the bathrooms or seat covers, which leaves one wanting, especially since other needs were anticipated. Parking: $10 valet. If you are using a credit card, a phone number is taken, one can communicate when the car is desired and have it 'Ready when You are', there is room for an additional tip for valet, as well as a convenience fee for using credit card for cost of valet. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Will be back.

    Beautiful new restaurant. We went for the soft opening and expected hiccups. But the staff was on top of their game! Our waitress Christine was very knowledgeable and super nice. The food was amazing. No complaints from our table of four.

    We were able to enjoy before their official opening this weekend. Atmosphere was fun and lively. Decor was upscale and beautiful. Staff was very nice and attentive. We dined with our daughter and her husband and we were celebrating their 6 year wedding anniversary and the holidays. The staff surprised us with a glass of champagne to celebrate their anniversary. So sweet and a very nice surprise! Food and drinks were excellent! We had a great time.

    We attended the soft opening at Ocean Prime and it was FANTASTIC! The entire dining experience, from check in, to drinks at the bar, to wait staff to actual dinner. It was just way better than I even expected. Love the vibe and the music.
