Octopus Baja’s food is fresh, and has a solid amount of flavor. The food also came out incredibly quickly, despite it being almost completely full. Servers were attentive, cocktails were delicious & had the perfect balance of “I want to feel the alcohol/get my money’s worth” and “I don’t want my drink to taste like a shot.” Fun decor. Definitely lively and loud at points but you’re going to a chic location in the downtown of a large city: If you expect it to be quiet, it’s your fault. Prices are about typical for good food in a downtown, on par with OBO and Kru, etc.. will definitely be returning.

I can't wait to go back! The elote soup, the shrimp tacos, the service. I already know what I will order the next 2 times!

The food was fresh and really creative. It tasted great. We lived the decor, nice but not over fancy so you felt comfortable. The price is very good for such great food. The only complaint was the music was a little loud. But overall great night!

Drinks, food and service was good. Fisherman’s Stew looked better than it tasted, as some items were overcooked. Salads and tacos were tasty. Cocktails were good, but for me they could always be stronger. Service was spot on. The restaurant was pretty full which meant it was quite loud. We will be back.

We kicked off our dinner with the Caesar salad and the Blue Fin tostada - both were incredibly good. The music was louder than we like but tolerable. But the highlight was the roasted split red snapper! Truly amazing taste and the surprise is that each half of the snapper is seasoned differently. This will be our go-to entree from now on. Highly recommend this place.

What a gem!! We have nothing but good things to say about Octopus Baja! Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and PACKED with flavor! I could have eaten another order of the Agua-Chile and the Blue Fin tostadas. The sauce the came with the clam appetizer was incredible (but the clams were so tiny that we would skip this one next time… although I’m tempted to see if they can serve that sauce with something else bc it was so tasty!) our server was wonderful and the speed with which our food was served was incredible! The whole vibe was perfection from the sea blue glassware and rustic blue serving plates, to the nautical painted walls and the soft wicker lighting which was also on point with the Spanish seaside feel of the place. A new favorite for sure. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the delicious menu!

The ambience has a nice vibe to it. The drinks and food was excellent. Everything came out fresh and was very delicious. Our server Josie was awesome and she was very professional making great recommendations which turns out to be great.
