Christmas brunch : Amazing setting - but that’s it. 5The 30 minute wait to just get down the driveway should have been a clue that our day would be ruined. It was a tradition - but no more. Way over priced for low grade low quality food. The higher price this year of $100 per head for brunch - is a bit much…. For eggs and a pasta entree. Santa was packed into a different room than prior years - so they could host another event in the larger room where Santa usually sits. Santa was also in front of a window - which meant no shot at a decent pic due to glare/sun. Overcrowded - overpriced. Avoid.

I made a reservation for December 15th When I called, I was told i was a "Christmas with Santa Brunch" but that we could order off the brunch menu. When we arrived, we I asked for the regular brunch menu. I was told they did not have one; it was only the Santa Brunch menu. For $100.00 you got an appetizer and one main. So, the stuffed French Toast for $25.00 was now going to cost me $100.00. I spoke to the manager, and he accommodated us by only charging the regular brunch menu price. I think going forward, they should consider those people who have no children and are not interested in the Santa Brunch in a separate room with a regular menu. The food was ok; it was not hot but just warm. The service was slow...Would I go back, I doubt it.

Overall we had a very nice dinner. The food was incredible and the building itself if interesting, impressive, and unique. The bar service was outstanding- a friend requested a holiday cocktail and the bartender made an off-menu drink, and I was using an app to find a vegan wine and the other bartender found one for me by reading the labels on the wine. It was above and beyond and truly appreciated. The dinner service wasn’t as impressive. They were slow on refills of water and I had to ask. One member of our party’s food came out before everyone else’s. She was done eating by the time my salad came out along with my entree. The salad portion was small, but the olive tapenade and bread with the salad were top notch and the pasta dish, which sounded simple, was truly satisfying - the sauce tasted refined, and I truly couldn’t wait to taste each bite. I Overall a great experience that could use a little fine tuning. I also expected it to be more decorated for the holiday season. This was my second time here, and I would definitely go back.

My brother & sister-in-law were visiting from out of state, and we wanted to share this special place with them! The food was delicious, the wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and Mr. Melious even came to our table to say hello! It was a magical evening that we all enjoyed very much. Such a beautiful location, and everything was perfect! Thank you so much, Mr. M and Oheka staff!!!
