At Old Wharf, we stand in the historical location of former jetties, piers, homes and taverns from where, since the 1800s colourful traders, merchandisers, exporters and explorers have shipped Tassie’s renowned produce across the globe.

Chef Simon Pockran and his team acknowledge this history by creating a menu that celebrates and explores Tasmania’s traditional family dishes. Reimagined and refined, this menu gives the nod to our past while championing our celebrated produce and boutique Tasmania growers.

Chef Alvin Sim and his team have prepared a set menu centred around iconic Tasmanian fare to wean you off the year. The experience was very nice. Our waiter Luke was excellent and did everything to help us. However, the miso custard spoiled what could have been a very nice apple pie, would have been nice with normal custard or cream.

Good value for money. Great ambience with a lovely view of the harbour. The service was excellent with a delightful and attentive waitress. The food was plentiful and delicious with excellent presentation. Our only negative about the venue was that the noise level was uncomfortably high.

A great night and a birthday treat. Fabulous service from our head waiter, Ollie, who stepped in to help out on the night - he made it so memorable. Lovely meal, right by the harbour. Couldn't fault it.

We don’t normally get to go to high class places as this. Our waitress treated us like we were meant to be there.it was for our 40th wedding anniversary and it was a high light of our day/night Food was excellent and I must say the waitress was awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant We are from Adelaide
