Ole Ole Tapas is a family run authentic Spanish tapas bar and restaurant in the heart of the historic city of Lincoln. We are a busy, exciting and vibrant restaurant always trying to bring a slice of Spain to Lincoln through our food and service. Catering for everyone from large families and staff parties to couples and friends looking for something a little different.

Established in the summer of 2013, Ole Ole Tapas was the brainchild of both Amador and Alison bringing their expertise and decades of experience of the catering industry to flourish in their very own tapas restaurant. Originally born in the Canary Island of Lanzarote (where the family originally came from) their daughter and both sons decided to join their family venture and follow in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents. The Ole Ole family is passionate about food and dedicated on delivering exceptional service in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

    Great food & menu choice. Initial service a bit slow but very quick food delivery. Ambience is a little lost in the large restaurant size. But overall a good dining experience & would return.

    Best tapas I’ve tasted in UK, was authentic and enjoyable. Very filling and a great selection.

    Excellent ford and service with great views of Lincoln Castle. Very relaxed atmosphere.

    The set menu for Valentine’s Day was fantastic value for money, and provided a great choice of options. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic!

    My husband is vegetarian and the states this valentines consisted of 3 meat/fish options bread and olives. Now he loves bread as much as the next guy but since it was a set menu with no changes, I had 6 mini starters and he had bread. And only bread because the olives were inedible (and I love olives). Our friends ordered the chicken in romesco which was basically leather. I get that it was crispy chicken but there’s a difference between crispy and dry. Credit where credit is due, my lamb skewers whilst a bit sinewy were very tasty and my chorizo was very tasty. My husbands veggie dishes were good too, who doesn’t love potato chunks in tomato sauce! The desert was by far the highlight of the meal. Genuinely delicious. We did notice that the other tables were being given a shot of something with their bill and we didn’t get that but I don’t know if that was and optional extra or not. Our waitress was really lovely, in fact all the staff were and they looked stressed so cootos to them they did really really well. Over all, whilst I will likely come back for a meal on like a random Tuesday or something I probably won’t be coming back for a special meal like valentines again.

    This has got to be my best restaurant, the hospitality is top, the food is amazing and the price just right. From the minute you walk in you are greeted with a smile and welcomed in the true Ole Ole style. The restaurant itself is spacious, bright, colourful and very inviting especially in the summer when you can be seated outside. Highly recommended.

    Our experience was so good that i made an account just to leave this review - The food was genuinely amazing, i’ve been really missing the food I had in Spain with my girlfriend and her family but Ole Ole made me feel like i was back in Denia - so much so that my girlfriend said she felt at home here. On top of this, the staff were so kind and helpful and everyone seemed to truly love their job and each other - it’s a family run restaurant and you really do get that homely feeling while you’re there. I had a lovely chat with the one of the Sons who work there (forget to get his name) but he was a really nice dude and seemed passionate about making the restaurant as good as it can be. I will definitely be back, I haven’t been here since they had a place on the bailgate years ago and I am kicking myself for not going back sooner!

    Excellent menu with a wide range of choice that made choosing our dishes difficult and that’s before we looked at the specials menu. Food was very good and washed down with some very nice red wine. The staff were very good and had a real pride in their service and the food that they brought to the table. Prices were reasonable and we will. Return on our next visit to Lincoln.
