Founded by sibling duo Chef Philip Pretty and Lauren Pretty, Olive & Rose is a culinary destination born from their shared passion for exceptional food and genuine hospitality. We'v reimagined the dining experience as a neo-bistro, where classic French techniques with a twist meet vibrant flavors that are unmistakably Californian. Each dish tells a story of flavor, texture, and creativity—a reflection of Chef Philip Pretty’s entire culinary career.
From sourcing local, seasonal ingredients to minimizing food waste and reducing our environmental footprint, we’re proud to continue the sustainable dining legacy of our sister restaurant, Heritage, by incorporating green certified and green Michelin star practices into our operations.

Our dining area is a covered patio, please dress accordingly.

Very disappointed. I live across the street and was hoping this would be the restaurant to take my visitors and guests to as the neighborhood place. We walked in sat down ordered a cocktail and the server came back to let me know the “manager” says this will be my last cocktail. It was my first of the evening.

We made a last-minute reservation on Friday morning for the Saturday of Mother's Day Weekend. Not unexpectedly the only availability was 5:45 p.m. Party of 2. We drove from Los Angeles (an hour plus...) so I requested a possible 6:00 p.m. reservation to more easily navigate the heavy traffic from Los Angeles. I got a call back from the restaurant Saturday afternoon graciously accommodating the 6 p.m. reservation. Appreciated the courtesy. Was politely told they needed the table back by 7:45 p.m. but, once seated, we were never rushed to order or finish. Paid the bill and departed @ 8 p.m. with no grief about being over. That's good management and hospitality. Only downside is the difficulty in finding close parking. Requires creativity and patience...

Our first visit and it was lovely . Calm, hospitable , friendly and delicious clean fresh yummy food ! The staff are kind and knowledgeable and sent a little champagne as it was our anniversary :) We’re ready to come back and want to try all the small plates !
