    It was a BUSY Saturday night (7:30pm reservation). We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated right on time. The restaurant was crowded and the noise level was a bit on the loud side. The waiter was busy but greeted us promptly and took our drink order. He received help from multiple people bringing water and bread while we waited to order. The olive spread that came with the bread was very good. The menu was well conceived with a good variety of choices. I had that night’s special of veal ravioli that was excellent. Overall it was a good experience and we we will be coming back

    The seating is really poor. There’s 4-5 booths that are nice, the rest feel like a loud cafeteria. Food was so-so…

    We have been a big fan of Oliver‘s since they open in Laguna Beach. This was our first time trying their Trattoria. The food and service were outstanding.  In my humble opinion, the best Italian food in OC!!!

    Our first time at Oliver's. The food was delicious. I had the gilled salmon with black garlic, roasted brussels sprouts, string beans, and fingerling potatoes. The deserts were excellent; the cheesecake was certainly better than anything you would find at the Cheesecake Factory.

    Lovely experience the night before Valentine's Day. Eggplant, veal pasta, and filet were all great. Cocktails and wine were great. Service was great.

    I don't know what happened tonight but our halibut with spinach in a caper sauce was not good. Spinach was way over cooked and soggy could not even finish it. Highlight was sou and salad. Hope this is not a trend.

    It was not the same service as always. It seemed that everyone was too busy entertaining the house wives of Orange County filming there tonight. I think that even impacted the quality of the food. The pasta was too greasy.
