Literally translating to "Trust The Chef Please," Chef Jeana Pecha's "Omakase Por Favor" is thrilled to open our second location in Midtown, Sacramento. We combine the best of Global and Coastal Mexican flavors with the immersive Japanese Omakase dining experience. Together with Chef Jeana, Chef de Cuisine Katerina Balagian craft a menu that showcases signature oysters, ceviches, and fresh, seasonal seafood, along with local vegetables and produce from trusted farms and suppliers. Stop by for lunch to enjoy a quick, satisfying meal from our à la carte menu, or reserve your spot for dinner to embark on a curated omakase journey, leaving every decision to our expert chefs. The Omakase experience enables you to enjoy foods you normally wouldn’t have chosen off of a menu because it’s chosen for you. Everyone truly seems to enjoy their role at the restaurant and we had a great experience!

My husband and I was completely thrilled of our dining experience at Omakase Por Favor. We were greeted by out wonderful host and our primary server Peter was professional engaging and attentive. We started out with a grilled oyster appetizer and it was cooked perfectly and the light sauce was enough to bring out the flavor of the oysters. The omakase dinner was beautifully done and each dish was described by Peter or Anyone of the staff that brought our dishes even our host. I found that amazing because it goes to show how engaging the entire staff is and that is due to the Chef and how she manages her restaurant. The Chef stopped by the table as well. We also was recommended the Karakuchi sake which offered a nice balance to dinner. A final touch was the next day I received a text thanking us for coming to restaurant and described the menu we had. That made it memorable. Will definitely recommend and return back when we are in Sacramento.

We visited the Sacramento location for the first time and did not know what to expect. We have visited the Lincoln location many times. Every meal we have had in Lincoln has been amazing. The care put into each dish is quite the feat! From local sourcing to far reaching wineries, Chef Jeana and Taylor exceed our expectations. Sacramento was no different. The only true change was the vibe and atmosphere. More space but still felt intimate. The concepts are similar but yet different. We cannot wait to go back to Sac and also to Lincoln again. Please try this restaurant if you consider yourself a foodie or just want to enjoy some good quality food.

Took my son for his birthday! They have such fresh and amazing dishes. We trusted the chef and he didn’t let us down! We will be back for sure! Thank you!

The food was inventive and hyper local. The wine list is creative and perfectly paired for the food. The portions were appropriately sized for an Omakase dinner. The price point is a great value, given the high quality of the food and the excellence of the execution .

Really fun tasting menu experience. Our server (one of the owners) had an incredible depth of knowledge about the menu, ingredients, flavors and regions for the food and wine. The Maitre d’ was also incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in the door.

Fun experience! Started with the bacon apple bleu salad and shrimp cocktail - we’d go back just for those two items 😋. The omakase menu was amazing with fun food pairings. Service was exceptional, we’ll definitely be back!

We came here for my husbands 30th birthday and wow what a great experience! The service and food were both amazing, highly recommend especially if you’re a foodie!
