Ometeo is bringing an elevated version of classic, comforting, & nostalgic Tex Mex cuisine to Capital One Center in Tysons, VA. Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people. For groups larger than 8 people, or if you have any questions about making a reservation please call the restaurant or contact us at info@ometeotexmex.com. We look forward to your visit!

Looking for a more relaxing "all bueno" vibe? Join us in our sleek stylish Cadillac Lounge Friday and Saturday nights. Reserve your lounge seating and enjoy Ometeo's signature cocktails and a delicious Cadillac Lounge menu of our signature appeteasers, tacos, and quesadillas. Starting at 9pm we turn it up a notch with "Ometeo After Dark" featuring a live DJ 9pm to midnight. (*Cadillac Lounge 21 and over only).

We went to Ometeo due to our son recommending the restaurant to us. We had a late lunch, so the restaurant was not very populated. So dining was definitely easy on our ears! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! They have a huge room upstairs that I would think could be booked for parties. That room was stunning! Way too cold now, but they have a large outdoor bar with lots of seating. That looks like it would be fun! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Our drinks-a guava hibiscus margarita and their version of an old fashion were quite good. Our food was very tasty! I got a kale grain salad and added shrimp. My husband got rib roast tacos! Really an enjoyable lunch. I would 100% recommend trying this restaurant. I know we will go back, soon I hope!!!

We had a very attentive server who gave us recommendations. They have some very unique menu items. We shared pork fajitas and chicken fajita platter. Not unique, but some of the best fajitas we have had. It can be expensive but the food was full of flavor and the decor and ambience is beautiful. The house Margarita was also amazing.

This restaurant needs to improve its service and overall experience to remain competitive in the area. While the food quality was acceptable, the service was subpar. Water refills were infrequent, and there was a significant delay in serving some members of our party, with meals arriving 15 minutes apart. Given the premium pricing, I expected a higher level of attention to detail and more efficient service. In such a competitive market, it’s crucial to offer both value and consistency, and unfortunately, this visit did not meet those expectations.

Hello Morgan, of course disappointed to read this and please accept our sincere apologies for your experience. We completely agree that your experience was not up to our standard. I know one of our managers did get involved and attempt to recover the experience, but completely understand how you were still left with a poor impression. What I can tell you is that was certainly not a typical Ometeo experience, as is reflected in our overall very positive service ratings here and across social media platforms. I know that does not help your experience, but hopefully you can accept that this an unfortunate off experience and not a true impression of our restaurant. We are confident that if you were to give us another try we would meet expectation and beyond- hope you will give us another try!

Great food. Great drinks. Dave the bartender/waiter was terrific. We got several tacos and swapped. All were amazing. Tuna appetizer was delicious. Decor and ambience perfect for a date or party.

We had a great meal (fajitas!) and great drinks (Hibiscus Margaritas!) for our night out with old team mates. The ambience is perfect and service was on point. This was my 5th time at Ometeo and I’m looking forward to returning soon.
