ONE65 Bistro, located on the third floor of the Innovative Culinary destination -ONE65, serves dinner menus that showcase local, seasonal fare minimally prepared to allow the ingredients to shine.

An open kitchen, featuring a Josper charcoal oven imported exclusively for the restaurant from Spain and the only one of its kind in San Francisco, services the entire building and connects guests to the food preparation.

The Bistro menu features contemporary California/French “comfort” food.

Overall a really lovely meal. We went with the 3 course option. The starters were amazing, the beetroot starter and the octopus. The cook on the seafood in our paellas was spot on. The wine was very good with lots of options. The desserts were ok, I couldn’t taste the chestnut in my chestnut pie. On making the reservation, Open Table asked if we were celebrating anything, I mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary but it wasn’t acknowledged so not sure it was worth mentioning. The service was really good but what was really lovely was the ambiance. We had a lovely evening and I am really happy that we chose one65 for our special celebration.

The food was truly excellent in terms of presentation and taste! The wine list was mind boggling and wonderful to peruse with a wide range of tastes and prices. I can only say that the service was not up to par with the food. It might be because it was New Year's Eve and thus the place was understaffed but things did not move as well as it should. The wine was not replenished on time and the dishes were not cleared quickly.

Horrible customer service experience from start to finish! They didn’t have a table for us “overbooked” so offered us a high top or a counter seat- when I said that was unacceptable for a meal over 30 minutes they offered to have us wait at the upstairs lounge. And charged us $18 for 2 beers while waiting… no gracious hospitality here! Service was slow and inconsistent- short staffed? I had to physically walk up and ask for the check. Food was very good but not exceedingly so to make up for the poor hospitality. Desserts were surprisingly pedestrian given that they have a fabulous patisserie on the ground floor…

Excellent French food. The “little bites” are a great way to get started. The appetizers and mains were also excellent. Also quite vegetarian friendly.

Wonderful dining experience. Great food, excellent service and beautiful ambience. Highly recommended. I had octopus salad (lots of octopus), skate wing (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, nice sauce) and Pavlova (the best!). My friend had the same appetizer and dessert as I and duck breast, which she said was awesome.
